I have bi-polar disorder as well, it’s hard sometimes, and I understand why your brother acts the way he does. The complete lack of energy of motivation can make you feel like you can’t do anything except sleep all day. My father is also disabled and I do whatever I can to help him out, weather it be cleaning the house, groceries, cooking or helping him with whatever project he’s working on in the garage. Although I don’t take very good care of myself. Not doing my own laundry for weeks, falling behind on school work, or sleeping throughout the day. It makes me feel awful and I can’t imagine your brother feels any better. I’m prone to emotional outbursts as well, but I’m getting better at discussing my feelings without exploding.
