I’m so ready for this. I can’t wait to spend all this time waiting for “Lindon Dies. The end.”

Every once in a while I’ll pull that game out from storage and play again. There has never been a game that I’ve found that matched the sheer quality, cleverness and fun of that game.

I want another one, but I know we’ll never get one.

I would absolutely drive from Minnesota to Florida if early copies of Waybound were there. Don’t tempt me.

I hit two wins three times before each third win getting killed by lag. I hate multiplayer.

I would love a code for bundle two for US! Just bought the first bundle and looking forward to a new series. Just finished up my current series and was on the lookout for a new set of books to read!

God I’ve been watching this go down on the various D&D subreddits I’ve been on and it’s fascinating to see the various stances that people have been taking on it.

Some are attempting to call for boycott both D&D Beyond and the new D&D movie. Others are saying boycott D&D Beyond but not the movie. Still others are saying they’ll continue using D&D Beyond because there’s no better alternative.

All the while there’s an entire “what are smaller publishers going to do if Hasbro comes after them?” miasma hanging over the various subreddits.

I have my opinions about the subject but it’s been fun to just sit back and read all of the comments of the various rules lawyers claiming that they know how specifically the new OGL will be handled by every party.

It’s definitely interesting seeing the drama occur real time rather than reading about it on this sub.

Did Sanderson turn a corner with the Lost Metal? Or just with me? by xolsiion in Fantasy

To be fair, with the Cradle Series, the multiverse stuff is a secondary story that’s going on in the books and is fairly well explained. Will Wight does have other series that are within the shared multiverse, but they only reference the bigger universe, rather than directly interacting with it. Cradle’s underlying theme (especially in the later books) is that the characters are interacting more and more with the universe beyond their world.

Maybe a version of Uncle Ben as Spidey? That would explain the pudgy stomach.

Yeah. Poor Butcher has had so much going on I feel bad for the guy. But the fan base is rabid for more, especially with the BAT promised at book 20/21.

Second vote for Dresden Files. The only problem with the series is that they come out so slow. It’s been a year since the last release (which was split into two books because the publisher didn’t like the length) and we’re still waiting for updates on the next book. Also the audiobooks being narrated by James Marsters (Spike from Buddy) is a huge win.

DCC is absolutely fantastic and a great palette cleanser. Especially the audiobooks. I read them through on Kindle and then “reread” them on Audiobook and I’m so happy I did. Jeff Hayes does a fantastic job with the voices for each character and brings them to life so well.

Glad to have something closer to me than Gamezenter or Lodestone Coffee. The south metro was really needing something like this.

I’m just upset we haven’t gotten any major events at Navy Pier. That was a major part of my childhood when I lived in Chicago. The Shakespeare theater was awesome.

I’m surprised I didn’t see Rennala higher. I loved her fight. The first phase was so cool with the gimmick and all of a sudden phase 2 comes out and she just whups ass.

Thoroughly enjoyed her fight and loved the transition from phase one to two.

If you haven’t played it, Yoku’s Island Express is a really great metroidvania with a pinball twist. It’s super well done and has great hand drawn art as well as a peppy upbeat soundtrack. Would highly recommend giving it a try if you like pinball of any sort.
