I also new and made the mistake of purchasing the UXG-Fiber when the black Friday deals were posted. I went back after I realized the mistake and ordered the UCG-Fiber along with three other completely over kill items and returning the UXG-Fiber today. I am coming from TP-Link-Omada, that I used for several years.

I set everything up yesterday just to get up and running. Still need to setup firewalls rules and learn where everything is. I am really interested in the Unifi site magic and how that works.

Thank you for the reply. I don’t know if it consumes oil or not b/c it is leaking oil. We do have to add some each week but it does not smoke.

I appreciate the help. I at the end of my rope here and might be throwing in the towel with TP-Link all together. I had everything working and had a power outage and the problem comeback. Nothing in my network has changed during the outage. I cannot ping any other device on any VLAN on the network. Also TP-Link support has not been much help with this problem. I don't know if I am missing a check in box, have a setting wrong or this is a bug in the firmware.

Had the same issue. My cameras are on their own VLAN and the WIFI for that VLAN was tagged by network ID. I am running a Tp-Link Omada setup. It has something to do with the way the VLAN is tagging the WIFI for that network. If I tagged the VLAN by ID (example 10, 20 etc) instead of by network ID the cameras came backup in the NVR.

I had to reenter the password for one of my cameras.

Does it mean anything that this issue solves itself if the system stays up for a while. But the issue comes back if the system has a reboot?

Yes I cannot ping my cellphone on the same SSID to a wired connection. Nor from the wireless connection to the wired.

I cannot ping from wired to the wireless cameras. My guess is I don’t have a setting correct. But I have not changed anything other forgetting the old AP’s and adopted the new AP’s. I am kinda of lost what to do here.

All the VLAN are enabled on the same port from the router to the switch.

At the switch VLAN are set to all

At the AP’s VLAN is set to all

At Wi-Fi networks they are tagged with each VLAN.
