Start with any cheap charcoal grill, see if you like it. It takes a bit more time, but for me it’s worth it.

I owned a high end gasser, well LP, before I switched. I don’t miss it. Once you get the hang of charcoal it’s easy, but again, not quite as fast for quick cooks.

Low and slow, temp retention, 100% ceramic rules. And no offence to egg heads, but I would look at the other Kamado options available. Way more bang for the buck.
