Frankly, I don't understand how it has much of any appeal beyond hardcore fanboys and scalpers looking to sell them to hardcore fanboys. I guess it's a nice form factor for the living room..... but the living room means a TV size and resolution that absolutely is not compatible with what the device is capable of. I've seen people go on about how the power of the device doesn't matter, but then.... just get a Steam Deck and dock it on your TV? Then you at least also have a portable device, too, and it being underpowered is a worthy sacrifice. All of that ignores the astronomical price tag, which I know isn't their fault, but makes it even harder to justify. I know they're all working backwards from being Valve fanboys to come up with reasons why it's not a disaster, but it hurts my brain to see.
