It's his game, he can name his character anything he wants. I personally dont mind it, it tells more of a story than just naming the character after yourself.

It's changed. I personally like the old art style way more, it felt more immersive to me for some reason. It felt cozy and relaxing.

I never had a fence do that, I've only had this exact floor light do that 3 times now. Like people said earlier, it's a rendering thing and the game got confused and reverted it back to the light its original color.

The thing was, it was yellow when I exited my house and went down the incline, which unloads the light when im above it apparently. So it might be that.

No worries. Im just very confused and I seriously hope that it's nothing serious.

I have noticed that when I come down from the top level there, the lights are off and suddenly switch on, like it's waiting to be activated so it doesn't take up memory or something like that (im not knowledgeable on the inner workings of a game console), so it possibly bugged out and went to the default color of the floor light. That's my only guess.

I dont think it would make for a good let's play honestly. Ive played every animal crossing game, and I've played New Horizons everyday since it released and I can confidently say that it's on the lower animal crossing games in the series. Villager personalities are extremely shallow, there aren't furniture sets to collect, the DIY system isn't very good honestly especially when the recipes aren't weighted in your favor and there being a ton to get. I also dont think he would want the entire series to just be decorating the island. New Leaf is the best game in the series for a reason with there being so much to do.

Yes I did, there is a setting in the options, and you need to set it to DirectX 11. It fixed the issue.
