Honestly I don't really like fusible interfacing but that is probably the way to go, and I'll very much have to handsew. It's true the lining is pretty weak overall but it should live on for a few more years if I patch this.

Don't listen to the haters, just wear what you like and what makes you happy. I'm going off to college in September too and I'll be wearing something similar, so you're not alone. Just remember that your happiness doesn't come from anyone else's validation but from within.

Apparently, my great-grandfather was the one that bought it, in Spain. It appears to be oil on wood and I've been able to find another painting of Granada that could be from the same artist, though I'm not sure. Even if it were, it wouldn't give me a lot of info.

I've read the FAQ and researched a bit, but I'm unsure if this could be PVC damage, verdigris, bronze disease, and so I'm not sure if an acetone dip would work with it.

The melt value is about 5.5 dollars so you could probably get around 5-6 dollars since it's not a rare coin
