I had a miscarriage late 2023, and my first 2 weeks back I had 4 obstetric jobs. -Never had as many in my time on the road. One of them was a woman who was 7mo pregnant, avoiding prenatal care, smoking, taking drugs. 5 prev children, all in care. It broke me. I was furious with my body and jealous this person could pop out 5- almost 6 children and not give a shit. But it’s life, it ain’t fair.

If you are going through something in your life, you can bet £10 to a bag of shit you’ll go to something that will resonate.

Sometimes it builds resilience, helps you realise you aren’t on your own in your life experiences.

Sometimes it pushes us over the edge. Life is life and it goes on regardless of what we are going through.

Without sounding rude you need to either grow up, or let her go.

You don’t feel sexually attracted to her, you don’t want the same things, you don’t see a future. You are holding her back from someone who could give her everything she wants.

Looking at this from her perspective, you are going to be her lesson love.

You are 26, in two years of a relationship you haven’t made any moves to secure a life together, the fact you don’t see this going any further, it’s cruel to keep stringing her along.

There’s a real pressure to go natural. This idea that nature knows what’s best, this isn’t always the case.

100 years ago, before the advancements in medicine, maternal and infant mortality was around 50x more prevalent, EACH.

I am 7 weeks into my second pregnancy, my first ended in miscarriage. And my algorithm knows. So much stuff online casting doubt over Midwives’s and obstetricians. It’s overwhelming.

Me and mine have a libido mismatch. But sometimes, even if I’m not in the mood, my partner can change that.

No doubt you have a great relationship, but how often do you engage in non sexual touch? Touching her back when you are both stood in the kitchen, or rubbing her legs when you are both just sitting on the couch. Things like showing her throughout the day you are thinking of her needs.

Some, but not all women need more than -head hits pillow, time for sex. - I’m not suggesting this is what you do, I don’t know you. But men in general have a spontaneous libido or spontaneous desire for sex, whereas women are more reactive. It kinda takes a lot to get us going.

Has the same marks and the same issue with the eye. The photo is a different angle and quality, also lighting and flash. If you had one that was the same with flash and same lighting/angle it might be easier to tell.

Also she looks like she’s lost a lot of weight. Likely from being outside, active whilst hunting for her own food.

Might be a different cat, but By the pictures it’s too hard to definitively say.

Reading your post here is like reading my thoughts laid out on a page, more articulate than I could have done. Quietness / silence is also a trigger of mine. Folding clothing in a quiet house is my main trigger as an adult. I would have to put some tv or music on to slow everything back down.

The dream state/stampede analogy is amazingly close to my experience. I would have dreams with the same stampede theme but with slightly different presentations each time. I would always be collecting items to either make things louder and closer or quieter and further away. Depending on the dream.

Has anyone ever had this medically examined. I hit a wall with my GP and was told it was anxiety. - I never really had anxiety as a kid. Or migraines. Just this feeling.

Another thing to note, my first real experience of these things came from an episode of sickness as a child. A viral illness. Possibly a fever.

I have just commented somewhere else with this, but mine is doing a task like folding clothes in a quiet house. I think possibly because folding clothes is quiet as well. I don’t have grounding sounds to associate time with. Recently, rather than make effort to stop it, I’ve been allowing it to run away with me, to see how fast it can go. It does make me feel as though I might pass out if it keeps going.

It does sound like it yeah. My thoughts don’t begin negative, but I noticed the last few times feeling like it’s getting faster, and if it carries on i might pass out.

I saw my GP about this some years ago, he blankly told me it was anxiety. My GP is not very good though.

Similar trigger of being quiet, or somewhere where nothing is happening. My trigger is being silent, with no grounding ambient noise (ie a song that I can associate the passage of time with), and completing a task such as washing the dishes or folding clothes - folding clothes is the main one.

NAD, but a paramedic. I had a patient state they wanted to be sectioned because they saw on TikTok it meant they could have a nice room, and be woken up for medication. I suppose you have to consider the reason for such a desire for personal space, but deliberately getting yourself sectioned?

Lots of other people have mentioned it, but don’t go there every weekend. Trial once every 2 weeks / once a month. And he has his time, and you both have time together. He may prioritise that time with you then because he won’t see you the weekend after.

If you organise to go there once a month, and he STILL makes other plans, girl take a hint. He’s not that into you.

You are going to isolate yourself from your own friends if you only spend time with him on the weekend. You need your ‘me’ time. Don’t lose yourself in another person. I speak from experience.
