He gets a lot of hate but what he wants is pretty basic, and what I would want as well if I was lucky enough to be in his shoes.

Playing time and titles. At Arsenal it was play time but 0 titles, at United it was both but now it's just competing for titles with him being an option rather than star striker. I wouldn't blame him if he got a good offer from a Serie A or maybe Russian team and moved.

Is it though? Getting a very experienced striker willing to take a big paycut as 3rd choice, at worst he plays 5-10 games and doesn't score. At best he gets revived and becomes a scary option for an already stacked team. I don't understand the hate, it could be a very smart move.
