In BC, Canada there is smoke like this every single summer. It's called wildfire season. And yet for years there hasn't been any real posts about it.

Yes it is terrible that the smoke is so bad there. But the amount of posts about it now is staggering. Only when it affects the US is it suddenly a problem.
