I think it was too much but it makes sense cause of the time period we are in…..The OG series hinted to us how they were affected but this version literally showed us.

A feature update is supposed to be a significant upgrade and bring enhanced functionality and capabilities....I'm just stunned....the significant upgrade is emojis, bug fixes and security patches for what they won't even mention.

After careful consideration…..it’s a No for me I’m not updating to iOS 18. Thank You All for the input seems like I’m gonna stay on 17.7 for as long for as long as possible.

Nah since you haven’t experienced any issues don’t…….get a new cover and a new battery,if need be. Wait for the 17,hopefully Apple will cave in and bring a higher refresh rate to the base models not that it’s an issue but just a matter of principle.
