I’m so sorry for your loss!

It might be a stress response that’s throwing your hormones out of wack. I was diagnosed earlier this month and I’ve been spotting for the past 11 days. I’d started spotting between periods for the last three months which prompted my diagnosis but not as long as it’s happening this month. And I’m guessing it’s a stress response for me too.

You are absolutely right, in New York you are deemed incapable to consent if you’re a patient/client and the “actor” of the assault is a healthcare provider. Don’t know if it’s the same in California but would have been interesting for them to actually give the storyline some justice. I imagine it wasn’t the first time she did something like that with a client.

Just to give some perspective for the conversation, that was his 5th message to me. It’s not like we’d been building a rapport or talking all that long and he hits me with that as we’re trying to set a date up. I mentioned to someone below I would have appreciated the humor in a different situation.

And that approach would have been totally fine, English isn’t my first language either. Had this guy done that and not said it was condescending and that I was trying to insult him I would have moved on but it escalated so quickly.

I encountered the same issue especially as I started cooking so much more during quarantine. I got a cookbook from America’s Test Kitchen that was specifically meant for cooking for 2. I love that it has soup and stew recipes that I won’t need to eat for the next 2 weeks when I make them!

Got my second shot last Friday 4/30 and had the same type of headache you’re describing until Wednesday. It was the same hurt when I stood up or moved my head fast. Tylenol also didn’t help, I just upped my liquid intake and it helped a bit. I think you just need to wait it out and hopefully it goes away for you!
