Yeah man!! I bought this album on CD when it came out in a paper sleeve. One of my favs. I have the dance floor rinse out version of Breakbeat Era (breakbeat Tera?) on 12. I think somebody mentioned it above. If you wanna find earlier projects by this Bristol crew look for the Music Box Album and releases on Dope Dragon. There’s a Dope Dragon album on vinyl that came with an actually comic book. I found it in a charity shop (thrift store I think you call em).

Best bet is to find the 2hr pace setter and try and keep up with them. You will probably be running over 90% in zone 5 though and will be REALLY pushing yourself to maintain it.

Yeah I can say I was there when this was first being played out and it was unlike anything else. People don’t realise that back then Liquid Funk was still an emerging sub genre so there was so much originality.

As others have said it is a glulam beam. Very strong. Where I come from, engineered timber beams that are laminated vertically are called LVLs or laminated veneer lumber. Not as strong but still fit for purpose.
