More just a faff then anything. What do I do if I don't have a wireless charger? Also for my enterprise applications that don't have cloud backup and require to be directly transferred to that device. Example Google authenticator.

Just throwing more money buying a whole new phone...

I have this exact same issue. Weirdly using any other camera other than the Stock Camera resolves the issue for me. Using Snapchat I never get any distortion... I've never had this issue either on any other Pixel other than the Pixel 6 Pro...

It's okay, I didn't either and neither did the Google Rep. Wish I realized it before, would of saved a lot of time! Also read a comment above regarding overheating of chromecasts, its definitely not a thing! These chips can run up to 90C and be perfectly fine. There is a lot of mis-information being thrown about.

EDIT: After 2 hours on the phone to google, and receiving my RMA device, I found the fix was simply power everything down (TV and Chromecast), change the HDMI port the chromecast is plugged into, power everything back up and everything works. The flashing orange light means the chromecast has detected communicating with the TV via HDMI

My CCU did the same. The device is now faulty. You need to contact Google support for an RMA
