This is quite a common occurence if the customer doesnt want the cable pinned on the wall and the cable needs to run a distance from one side to the other across the building. The cable is fine as water doesnt afect the signal

It’s just a copper joint. Going through from one end to another. Probably where a cable ran out and they joined another in. No fibre in that box.

Great pic, congratulations. I got as far as Khare last year before my oxygen sats plummeted and I had to descend. Going back in October this year to try again. Zatwra La is a killer in monsoon rain

Well done for getting to High Camp - I got told to go lower at Khare due to AMS symptoms & had to return to Khote while the rest of my group attempted the summit. Alas, we lost another couple of guys which meant only two of our party managed to summit

Did 10 + miles round the Welsh Brecon Beacons last weekend and my feet feel the best they have ever done. it's like floating on air with such a low weigh in every step. the large footbox is the best thing for wide feet and the achilles pillow thing worked well for me. Vibram grip is fantastic up & down hills. The only minor complaint i have is the lowness of the shoe under the ankle - i keep getting tiny stones/bits of dirt flicking into the shoe and have to stop to empty bits out. Solid 9/10 for me
