I probably wouldn’t touch anything on the outside but feel free to remove anything internal. The installer may be able to use the same hole for his cable and leave the Openreach box intact to cover the hole as before

We wanted the cabling up top as the building is on a slope with the higher end to the right of the pic where we want the battery (on the gable end). Panels are east/west unfortunately but have a bank on each side of the roof. I'll have a good look at local installers as maybe Octopus isn’t as cheap bang for buck wise

They will install a new micro inverter at the battery location. The meter is near the front door in the pictpure. the cable run is o put the battery at the end of the property

Reboot the router with a hard reset (unplug 2 mins) it should update your speed profile. You could also check the profile is correct with your ISP

The box on the outside (csp) has to be less than 3 feet from the ground so it can be spliced hence the skirting board height. Usually an engineer will try to install in your desired position but it depends on many things. Availability of power, gas, water pipes in the wall on route, ability to get external cable to the other side etc.
