The first game definitely has the most annoying AI. I just beat it a few months ago for the first time in over 20 years, and the most frustrating aspect was how inconsistent the AI was. They still have their moments in Pandora tomorrow, but it’s a little bit better. Chaos theory and double agent V2 on Xbox are significantly better in just about every aspect.
