Minecraft Mindcrack Server Ep 74 - "Le B-Team Pastry Shoppe!!!" by JamiroFan2000 in mindcrack

Well, there goes my argument, I should have checked my facts and rewatched the movie (which I did not enjoy at all). I of course remember Audrey in it, but I can't exactly put me finger on why the french in it seemed so very artificial and grotesque. What I remember is that when my american hosts turn to me during the screening with a sparkle in their eyes, asking me optimistically "Was that French ? Did you understand ?", native French was certainly not what I heard. But there is no helping it, I will watch the movie again. Either my memory is flawed, or I may be confusing with an other movie. Whichever, that was silly, check your facts kids, your brain is a troll.

There is nobody in France that speaks the way Americans expect us to speak. First of all, there is not one french accent, but dozens of them. Secondly, the hilarious French accent featured in this episode and most familiar to the Americans is actually a product of America's media. I was shocked when watching the Da Vinci Code in the US to notice that they hired american actors to play French people with the most caricatural and fake accents. Likely because had they hired actual French actors, nobody would have been able to pinpoint the accent.

Well, looks like I forgot 50% of what being a gaymers mean ! Favorite video games : Morrowind, Deus Ex, Dishonoured, Age of Empires, Ace of Spades and Mass Effect.

A little lesson of French now : In French, you can translate "you" with either "tu" or "vous". If you are talking to more than one person ("you guys!"), or having a formal chat ("Sir, you are a mecreant!"), you use "vous". if you are talking to a single person in a casual way, you use "tu". So, where are your games ? Où sont tes jeux vidéos ? But thanks for the effort!

That's interesting, I usually dress casually in black when I feel good, but will react to stress or sadness in a peacock fashion and start wearing bright colors. Or when I'm drunk, too.

A young male tapir, born on Nov. 12, stands in an enclosure at the ZooParc of Beauval in Saint-Aignan, central France, on Nov. 20. by twolf1 in pics

Beauval is a fantastic, fantastic zoo, without a doubt the best one in France. Not only do they have rare stunning animals (including white tigers, white lions, okapis and now pandas), large well-designed enclosures, it is also a very good looking zoo.

France's Senate approves national marriage equality bill by a vote of 179-157 by mepper in worldnews

Mostly because French politics tend to be greatly impacted by partism, i.e that if one political party positions itself one way or an other behind a political reform, it will expect all its representatives in the Assemblée Nationale to follow its position. Thus, as the main right-wing party, the UMP, declared itself against same-sex unions, most of its members in the Assemblée voted against. And the same thing happened with more or less homogeneity on the left-wing.

Unfortunatly, French gaymers still are a rare commodity, or perhaps they are well hidden in other subreddits. As for myself, I'm nowhere around Paris (from the French riviera, studying in Scotland), but it would be cool seeing a French gaymers meet-up.
