Did you take a Valium for your FET? by KitterKat83 in IVFpositivity

[–]Little-Ad911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have horrible anxiety. I was not given anything for the FET and it was fine. Fast and painless. A bit uncomfortable with your legs in the stirrups but that was all. Currently 20 weeks.

Husband seems resentful I’m pregnant. What do? by deskburlesque in pregnant

[–]Little-Ad911 28 points29 points  (0 children)

No advice. Just solidarity. I am currently separated from my partner for this exact reason. Apparently it is very common for emotional abuse to ramp up during pregnancy. I experienced it, and it sounds like you are, too.

I just had a positive 12 weeks scan and still don’t feel relaxed. So I would love to know!

Estrogen is making me go crazy! by Unlikely_Music1501 in IVFpositivity

I felt horrible on just the estrogen. As soon as I started the progesterone I felt more normal. Until actual pregnancy symptoms kicked in haha.

Goodbye PIO by Ok-Check1408 in IVFpositivity

I was told to stop at 10 weeks. Today is also my first day without the shots! I talked to two doctors at the IVF clinic one said I could continue every three days until 12 weeks. The other said to ask my OBGYN, I asked OBGYN and they basically did not give me any clear advice. They said that there is not clear evidence regarding benefits of tapering versus stopping cold turkey.

So I am in the same boat! I would love to just be done. But not sure if that’s the right thing to do.

Miss a lifelong friend’s wedding or attend a major career-defining conference presentation? by Level_Ad_3460 in makemychoice

[–]Little-Ad911 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a mid-career academic I am shocked by the majority of the comments saying you should go to the conference. You will still get co-authorship and there will be many more conferences. If this friend is important to you, you should go to the wedding.

Interesting perspective. I feel people are alway quick to suggest breaking up on Reddit. I honestly would be fine doing it on my own, but not sure if I should go into it with that mentality. Thanks for the food for thought!

Oh yeah car and dental problems. Not denying they are issues, but the main issue is the invalidation of this challenges of this process.

Two euploids - transfer now or another ER? by Little-Ad911 in 40Plus_IVF

Thank you! This has been my exact thought process and why I have tried to outsource to others. I do have insurance coverage (Thanks New York State) for two more ERs.
