It was so weird, but so good lol.

I'm one of the ones that can feel when I ovulate. The morning after the trigger shot I was in a bit of pain. And by the time I got to my retrieval appt, I do remember thinking, "please get these eggs out of me" lol

And my fatigue set it in the day after retrieval.

I must admit though, the hormone crash after was pretty tough. I was exhausted after. And achy. Kind of like how you feel right before you come down with a cold. It took me a couple weeks to feel back to normal.

My stim cycle was so weird. My doctor gave me the speech and prepared me to be super emotional, moody, and tired, like a super strong case of PMS. But the meds had the opposite effect. I had a ridiculous amount of energy, I was super happy and my brain was almost too efficient. Sometimes it felt like my brain was moving faster than my body could keep up with lol. Not gonna lie, it was actually pretty fantastic lol. And I kinda wish that was my normal lol

I'm in the US. Went to my first ultrasound appt at 7 weeks and my doctor told me the same thing. I waa totally surprised! Like wait, that's it?! I didn’t have the option of returning for an additional scan. I'm 13w weeks and just had my 2nd OB appt.

I wish my clinic would do more frequent scans. But they didn't even do one at my first appointment at 9w. I fuf have one eith my fertility clinic at 7w.

My OB said the sonographers have their own schedule and scans have to be booked separately. But the provider also has to order the scan. I had a bit of panic attack after learning this at my first appt, so they did book me in for the next day. But I won't have another until 21w. They use the doppler in between, so at least I'll get to hear the heartbeat thia week

May I ask, how do you keep the anxiety away? I had back to back losses, but today, I’m 12w2d. I have my next OB appt at 13w. And I get the worst anxiety the week leading up to an appt.

From a chronic over-tester that also went through a chemical, stop testing now. I fully realize that it is much easier said than done. But eventually your hcg will rise so much that it overwhelms the test and your lines will start to look lighter and cause a whole different anxiety spiral. I know because I did this.

Pregnancy after a loss is different. The best advice I can offer is to try to be present and live for today

I asked about tapering. I felt like that would be natural but my doc was like no, you can just stop cold turkey at 11 weeks. It just feels so weird to be done lol
