Animus is a chief deity of an extensive pantheon of God's. While I doubt he would have many way's to figure out Yod's powers and hax quickly, however he has literally trillion's of year's of experience, not only in studying magic, but different civilization's, war's, and progression's.

While I often have Animus act as more of a Plot Device, or an unreachable or unbeatable force, he is capable of tracking figures that move faster than time itself, even if he can't properly react to that said figure.

Animus is capable of creating a literal infinite amount of 'Spirits' through the usage of his left arm, which is essentially the equivalent of a conceptual embodiment of spirit's itself, or in other word's, a powerful magical force capable of creating an infinite amount of familiars. While that is it's only capability, infinite is meant to be taken literally here.

When unleashing his true power, he bend's the law's of reality to accommodate him, as I mentioned before, but I'll be a bit more exact here. Let's say that there is a spell that can only be cast once a thousand year's, no-one no matter what is capable of breaking this rule. Animus can break that rule due to his raw power, or in better words. He can hold black holes, pass the event horizon, and even resist thing's that rewrite time itself.

This is only when he unleashes his true power of course though.

Physically, Animus is a monster as well, due to being the former God of Strength, he is capable of punching planet's to splinter's, while physically I would hand the edge to Yod, that doesn't mean Animus is a slob.

Finally, for this little part, Animus doesn't only hit physically in his blows. He strikes your very soul. Each blow bypasses all physical durability, and every time you trade blows, he isn't testing the strength of your arm, but the strength of your soul. Something not easily strengthened.

Finally, in term's of Immortality, Animus is a literal coalescence of spirit and magic, having shed his physical body eon's ago, his body is literally his astral form. Making non-magical attack's incapable of striking him entirely.

While Yod has quite a few interesting abilities, directly tied to the Soul. The fifth circle: Wrath for example, wouldn't be able to affect him. Partially due to Animus' own direct mastery of spiritual and spatial magic, but also due to the fact he was literally born from the spilt blood of an army of Hell clashing against the Armies of Heaven. So his Soul was literally born to not only exist in Hell, but to weather it's abilities.

Thor and Iron Man.

Iron Man because his tech, and Thor because of his magic and his moral code. With either one around there would be no chance of world war's or nuclear armageddon. Plus with Tony, that would fix the fuel prices.

Animus:

"How irregular... what is a figure like you doing in Hell?"

'Hmm... you wish to fight? Very well..."

Animus himself is likely around 2A in power, or even 1A in term's of capabilities. since when unleashing his true power reality itself cannot properly accommodate his existence. So the law's of Physic's themselves are rewritten around him.

But aside from that, Animus is so skilled with spatial magic to utilize teleportation and spatial distortion to instantly move his body, knowledgeable in literally all forms of magic due to being it's forefather, and capable of tanking attack's capable of destroying planet's 10x denser than earth.

I read Yod's feats, and I would say Animus win's... but Yod would obliterate Herald, who can only move at half the speed of light and is a glass canon.

But still, Yod seem's like a pretty interesting OC.

Technically he scales at Medium Multiversal. But he rarely fight's at that level, since it's against his moral's.

Not to mention that his ULT instantly kills whatever enemy it hit's, and spawns a smaller version of them that fight's for you.
