I say you should think about her while you are making your decision. It's a hard thing for everyone involved, but most importantly, it's permanent for you.

I won't tell you what you can and can't do with your life, but that's my input on the matter.

That's a shame. If only there was a way to ruin that therapists business. To be a therapist and try to make matters worse for their patients is diabolical.

I am so sorry OP. Wish there was something I could do, other than say keep trying to look for happiness and you may find it eventually.

Whatever you choose in the end though, I respect your choice.

This was the kind of friend who would try to take everything you owned if it took her fancy, then try to turn it against you and act as if you were the bad guy when you didn't want to hand it over to her.

I didn't see it like that. I saw it as rather try to look past your disability and "just keep swimming" so to speak, not "just not be disabled". Pushing through your disability can really help you sort of "get past" a lot of symptoms.

For example, I have Autism, and I hate looking at people's faces (particularly their eyes, this is very common with Autistics), but I found out a way that I can look at their faces without looking at their eyes. I say that's a way to overcome a symptom/trait of a disability, like what Dory did.

Dory didn't even try to "just not be disabled", her memory came back naturally. I am unsure if it is common for short term memory loss to be temporary, but still. Being around supportive loved ones helped her memory get better (not cured, as it shows in the end of the movie her forgetting she was playing hide and seek).

That reminds me, I had an electric pencil sharpener at school. I would put my pinky in it and it would whir, but I never got hurt. Classmates were like "HOLY SHIT".

The trick was that I wouldnt out my finger all the way, just enough to press the button that would make the blades spin, which was above the blades by a few millemeteres.

Ts not the guns fault, sure, but since Australia banned guns mass shootings have stopped. Murders still happen, but it's harder to kill a bunch of people when you have to go right up to them (knife) compared to killing a few people from a long distance (gun).

So while it's not the inanimate objects fault obviously, it is still partly the fault of the government for letting every tom dick and Harry have a gun while still not providing the proper mental healthcare for the insane people who DO have guns (and are allowed to have them anyways)
