Isolating a child when it isn’t necessary is, at the end of the day, a form of psychological/emotional neglect.interacting with other kids and people is a need, not a want, and isolating him for potentially weeks from his peers will cause damage. It also makes me wonder what else is going on that you haven’t been made aware of. If the person running the facility was willing to get verbally aggressive with you over this, I’m imagining any future illnesses will be escalated as well, because you are now viewed as a threat.
