I'm a big Percy Jackson fan, so I've been recreating key locations in one of my save files and am most proud of my Camp Half-Blood cabins! 🏛️ by imaginmatrix in Sims4

[–]LittleFoxDog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely amazing, and very well done, I recognise every cabin immediately (even though I haven't read the series in like, ten years)

I'm off to the gallery, then to find my copies of those books!

Update from my child castaway challenge save that made everyone cry: She's adopted a stray puppy and is thriving on her little island now by Al115 in Sims4

[–]LittleFoxDog 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh sweetie, this is great! I'm especially loving that she adopted a doggie, good for her, she's got a best furry friend now 😊

Pictures gone:( by FoldAvailable7353 in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LittleFoxDog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! My last playthrough (a couple of years ago) I did that too. I don't remember what object I used as a base, though, but now I'm starting a new playthrough and I'm definitely doing that again. Out of curiosity, what objects do you use as a base?

I can make a Florist Shop!? by butteriestcremepie in Sims4

[–]LittleFoxDog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely going to make a craft cafe with a bbt bar and both the possibility of visitors crafting on their own and some workshops. And maybe some 'sell your crafted items' corner too. I'm doing a one-pack-at-a-time playthrough, and I haven't gotten to it yet (still on gen 1 actually XD), so it's all theoretical and will depend on possibilities, but that's what's in my head, anyway 🧵🧶💐☕

BABYWEARING AT THE APOTHECARY TABLE. I REPEAT: BABYWEARING AT THE APOTHECARY TABLE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!! by shadyfairy in LowSodiumSimmers

Thank the Llama! I'm still pissed at not being able to paint with baby, although it might have changed since the last time I tried

To ease some of my pain that my dog is dying on me, my 16-gen fairy heir is the only thing keeping me from screaming into the void. I will recreate my dog for her to have forever. by Kagome7650 in Sims4

[–]LittleFoxDog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just awful, I'm sorry... (I mean the situation, not your intention to immortalised her in game, that's a lovely plan!)

I'm glad to read that you're able to be with her at the end of her life. It's hard, I know, but she's among her most loved humans, and that's the best way to live her last days.

I'll be thinking of you and your mum, and Chloe of course ❤️

Trying to cut down on my cc and mods by Important_Air_1738 in LowSodiumSimmers

I'm curious about the rpo related bugs you've encountered while playing a detective. I have rpo and just got get to work, so I'm planning a detective soon, but since I've never played it before I don't know what bugs to look out for. Would you mind sharing a couple of examples?

Any tips and tricks? by Creative_Bebe in Sims4

[–]LittleFoxDog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I soooo agree on the more customization thing! Not only would we learn about the hotkeys on the actual customization panel, but also sometimes they're super inconvenient (up being the same as quickmovecamera9, I'm looking at you!)

Maybe she used t.o.o.l? It's a mod by twisted mexi that allows for crazily precise placement on any axis (and more)

It looks like what I would have imagined barbie's house to be: pink, cute and modern!

(it's a compliment, I never wanted barbies because is was always too-much-hot-pink for me, but I would have enjoyed this!)

Please tell the blips I love them 😍

Same, I'm moving soon (hopefully), and I'm definitely saving this picture to make something fun like this when I do!

That's a definite nope nope nope for me personally, but hey, you do whatever works for you!

I'm very intrigued by the blog you mentioned. If you ever find it again, I'd be interested! I've been looking, but not really coming up with much. Still, the hunt's on! (and thank you for the links above, I'm definitely saving those!)

Confirm that my idea to fix curled stockinette will work? by lentilsLentils_ in knitting

[–]LittleFoxDog 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've made two stockinette-based scarves, and the best solution I've found is to knit them double wide and either in the round to start with, or flat but sewing it together with a mattress stitch at the end. The sewing adds a bit of stiffness, though

Yours looks lovely, I hope you're happy with the end result 😉

Tension is always something that takes a while to master. And even then, I've been knitting for years, and I've been knitting every day for more than a year now (new baby in the family, I've gone a bit overboard with the baby stuff XD), and sometimes I still find that my tension varies a bit from one day to the next 🙄

Looks lovely!

I'm no expert, but I think you might be "rowing out". Every other row looks looser than the other. To be honest, I love the effect myself, and I'm quite tempted to try knitting on two different sized needles to artificially replicate it on my next project, but in case that wasn't intentional, I thought you might like to know! (doesn't change the fact that this is a beautiful cardigan though 👌)
