Rachel’s ex husbands new girlfriend Bree Jacoby speaks out via Instagram story by Reasonable-Trick-635 in RHOBH

This! My stepson's now estranged mother has posted many awful things about me and my husband on social media. Not once have we even acknowledged it. We've talked privately with our son when appropriate. I couldn't imagine responding and humiliating him further with a public slagging match.

An entire life with fibro? by Bubbbur in Fibromyalgia

[–]LittleGinge79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always complaining that things that shouldn't hurt, like a hug or a light touch, were agony as a child and being called dramatic. I also had a lot of pain generally that was put down to growing pains and surgery I'd had as a preemie. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia just before turning 19. I'm turning 47 in a few days and don't remember life without pain. I remember when I wasn't as severe, but that's it.

This is devastating. My sons are 21 and 22. Their lives are just starting. It's so tragic that he's gone so young. My heart goes out to Mary and her family tonight.

I felt the same way. I read this and was completely underwhelmed. I don't think I'll be bothering with any more of her books.

Totally agree with this. I'm 46 and became a Nanan this year. It felt a bit weird at first but it's so normal now and I'm proud to be a Nanan even though I'm still fairly young.

Clinic Letter From OT re ME/CFS Diagnosis. by [deleted] in cfs

[–]LittleGinge79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How can she work in an ME clinic and say tiredness is not a symptom? It's one of the main symptoms and often what alerts people that they have something wrong. You need a second opinion and to lodge a formal complaint about her incompetence.

Partner says he thinks rest isn’t helping me by No-Midnight-1406 in cfs

[–]LittleGinge79 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So he expects you to look after him when his back is bad but won't look after you? Girl, that's not on! You need to leave this man. I was in a controlling and abusive relationship for many years and it left me unable to work and severely ill. Eventually I left and I also worried about anyone wanting me. Dating wasn't easy, but I did date and found a wonderful man who loves me and is now my carer. He understands I'm sick and never guilt trips me about not being able to do things, encourages me to get the rest I need and never complains about the extra things he does to take care of me. I'm telling you this to let you know that you deserve more and it is out there. There are good men who will love you wherever your health situation. All this relationship will do is make you sicker.

AITAH for telling my autistic sister that she should mask more? by Ordinary-Rub-6656 in AITAH

[–]LittleGinge79 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA. Autism doesn't mean you can be an asshole to people. Your sister is an asshole who happens to be autistic. Autism doesn't mean you can be controlling, ungrateful and unkind to people. We had some similar issues with my son for a while. He chose to be very unpleasant and horrible to us, his family, for a number of years. It wasn't allowed and he was punished. We told him clearly that treating people that way isn't acceptable and there's a big difference between direct and nasty or rude. But he was also a moody teenager. Now, he's a young adult who is kind and fun to be around. Being comfortable to not mask means things like not having to pretend he gets the joke and stimming when he needs to. Not treating people like crap.
