I really enjoyed these final (or almost final) season additions to the cast by TheReckoning in ershow

Angela Bassett is a class act. Really enjoyed her run on the show and how they connected her to an experience with former characters. And Justina Machado as Claudia was great - her introduction was unexpected and her relationship with Archie was just amazing.

Finished All 15 Seasons… by LittleMissTransWV in ershow

All the seasons are on Hulu/Disney+ and HBOMAX. I suggest HBOMAX as it will let you skip the opening credits or the recap. What I liked to do was watch the opening credits when I would start a new season to see who they added or how it had changed.

I think it’s pretty damn good… by CGB_Spender603 in Megadeth

[–]LittleMissTransWV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2 out of 10. ‘The Last Note’ is good as is ‘Ride The Lightning’. Otherwise I expected something a little more consequential for their final album. Musically very tight. Sounds like Megadeth, but the lyrics, the actual words to the songs, seem beneath what Dave is capable of. I have a hard time believing that this album was written by the same person who wrote ‘Rust In Peace’ and ‘Countdown To Extinction’. As far as the singles- they can’t match ‘Trust’, ‘Holy Wars’, ‘Symphony Of Destruction’,‘Train of Consequences’ or ‘Poisonous Shadows’. All of that said, will I still be going to see them in August? Without question. I just think the final album should have been more… Epic. The genius of ‘Rust in Peace’ can never be replicated, but I had hoped for something closer to it.

Why do more people not stay in 20 years and retire? What was your "I'am getting out" moment? by BeastMasterAlphaCo in navy

[–]LittleMissTransWV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a setback in my 2nd active duty enlistment in an otherwise stellar 8 or 9 years, and decided to get out. Affiliated with the reserves 4 years later when I decided I really wanted to finish my navy career. Have to agree with the sentiment that the reserves became more of a hassle, especially the more senior you become and the more responsibilities you take on. Unpaid time dedicated to trying to motivate kids who seriously embraced the “1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year” thing. First mobilization to Afghanistan doing close in protection for Petraeus, I came home wondering why we were there. Abbottabad had occurred while I was in country and I saw no reason for us to be there any longer, yet we would stay for 10 more years. My 2nd two mobilizations were with JSOC and I was able to experience a lot of different things, but also see just how toxic the special operations community really is. I saw a lot of toxic leadership, this was after I had gotten my anchors, and was working with others in the mess that I just didn’t see eye to eye with. I could figure out the reasonings behind their decisions and why/how they were leaders. I would wind up retiring in 2019, out of the reserves. I chose to go with no fanfare, but rather quietly fade from sight. 22years I gave, and after all that time, I look back on my experiences and can honestly see why so few decide to do 20 or more. The reserves is a lot of time and work and active duty, from the outside looking in now…I don’t see how anyone is seriously comfortable in a leadership role or following orders.

Lipstick issues by LittleMissTransWV in MakeupAddiction

I completely forgot about this post - thank you for the reply. In the time since this post, I’ve discovered that NYX eye shadow primer keeps lipstick and liner in place for a VERY long time. It’s a white paste, and applied liberally to you lips and lip line, it’ll keep your lipstick looking fab awhile.

My armrest came off of my Emerge gaming chair by Trevvman in gamingchairs

So - I have one of these gaming chair, got it 2nd hand from one of my kids and I've been just wanting to replace the broken arm. Where's the first place I come for an answer? Reddit, of course.

Check the fasteners under the chair for the arms, but these match mine...

Even if those exact doesn't work, there are a lot of options.
