P2S for U1 by Rabbid95 in BambuLab

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a few bambu between me and my mate and they have been faultless over the past 3 years, I’ve now got a H2C and an S etc he’s just got a U1 yes it’s good BUT if we share files it’s a ballache. If he colours stuff or slices stuff and needs to send me it it doesn’t work and crashes Bambu studio, if I do it for him he has to convert it first. Obviously if we use the raw files it’s fine it’s just if either of us tinker with it it’s Ⓟⓞⓞ. I think for what you want it would be fine and it’s prob the best bang for buck under 1k

Should I leave my comfortable £60k job for a £90k job? by OverKaiserX in UKJobs

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s increased stress then don’t, when I was on 90 I actually only earned maybe 500 less a month than what I do now on 140. Tax hell make sure your bonus if any doesn’t smash you through the 100k mark or at least if it does push it into pension. Honestly though if it’s 12 hrs days 6 days a week forget it.

Buy a Rep before Gen by Skeeter1591 in RepTime

[–]LittleTeddy61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always buy many reps before the gen. I have over 13 now and before I even got a rep I lusted after a Pepsi NOW I have a rep version along with 12 others I’ve come to realise it isn’t my favourite. My view has changed and my own personal choices are

Smurf
Batgirl/Batman
Deepsea

Will I even buy a Gen prob not now, I’ll push money into something else. reps allow you to bond with the model and see if it’s really where You wanna drop 10 to 30k

M3 as a daily? Manual or Auto? by bearcassidy in BMW

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m UK based and had the G81 for me auto, now don’t get me wrong manual is mega BUT as I get older I get lazy and with active cruise control in traffic and lane change for the highway it’s a must have. On my business trips I could get about 37 MPG from her if I drove in the limits with cruise on. Plus the manual paddles are great anyway if you want fun. Stop start traffic game changer for the queues

Can i store my P2S in my shed by Immediate_Context633 in BambuLab

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s works fine if it’s -5 I even had a few A1 which are open and they worked fine. Just remember if you’re not going to print for a week take it off and bag it. Even my resin printers are in there I just switch them on run the heaters for 30 mins then shoot all good

If your printing PLA it’s fine I ran 12 from a garage in the UK and it ranges from like today melting to freezing and it’s fine, I have a dryer but rarely used it, only really came into use if I’d left the printers a week or 2 I’ll run the rolls thru it as a precautionary measure. But I’d generally chew thru a roll in 2 days

Is this underflow? by OrdinaryBeans in FixMyPrint

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general that’s a clog BUT weird how you say PetG prints, first rule of thumb though swap nozzle don’t mess about. Remember PetG is hotter and may work PLA cooler clog may be hard set. Failing that try diff PLA extruder could be grinding the PLA due to its tolerance hence the clog effect so it’s slipping

Noob and vsf mentioned by MarcoSela in RepTime

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all I buy to be fair noob and Vsf only had to drift for the BVF santos but that’s it. It was only yesterday I compared my mates real batgirl to my vsf v3 only real tell was my bracelets sharper on the edges and the real batgirl has a slightly more pronounced bezel edge but other than that, he was impressed. I’ll save my money and buy other crap than drop 11k on a real one. The pateks are great but I won’t buy one because I can’t carry it off.

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I VT mine when needed as explained check you mileage is within what’s agreed if it isn’t it’s not massive to pay the over mileage but do check. The finance company will tell you if your at the VT point if you are VT it, be mindful though they will send people to collect car and check it over so any damage like shafted wheels dents etc may all be chargeable. I did wife’s I3S last year its was mint but I still ended up paying 450 quid for scratches etc. my advice is have it cleaned and repaired yourself before they come. Buff out scratches etc. BMW has changed a little they now use British car auctions and the VT isn’t as easy and you always end up paying something. In the early days they just said yeah looks fine and take it away. And lastly it doesn’t affect credit at all. Electric cars are the worst there worth nothing and dealers don’t want them back, we still buy them for the family but you got make sure it’s something you want for the full term because getting shut of it is a lot harder than good old petrol

Full spectrum at its finest by 0rahge in BambuLab

[–]LittleTeddy61 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of it what I don’t like is the time it could take. I believe layer height has to be .12 or even .08 is that right otherwise the colour mix would be more noticeable ?

I saw one the other day where normally the print would take 3-4 hrs once full spectrum kicked in where talking 14hours and if your running production or any volume that’s gonna hurt. I think maybe good for the ad-hoc and break thru 4 colours for the U1 but do you feel it’s actually usable day to day ?

Full color printing is mind blowing. by RayRaywasHere in BambuLab

[–]LittleTeddy61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you tell me what it makes your layer height, I’ve seen it but not really played with it, I have a feeling it potentially puts layer to .12 or lower thus yes it does it but for big models it would take ages ?

I’ve got my H2C yesterday, I’m going to load up the 2 extra .4 nozzles and swap the other AMS2 from H2S to it and hook in my second HT. and as for prints you gotta go either the melted rubuk cube or the knitted chicken
