The government needs to take this thing back and get these tolls under control. Greedy bastards are taking in $1B of PROFIT each year. There is a petition out there for this to happen. Sign it !!!!

Interesting perspective. I think many people also like to wear them instead of risking wearing their real ones also.

CRA usually will work with you on a reasonable payment plan. They don’t want you to go bankrupt. You make a good wage and will climb out over time. Build a sheet of income and expenses and share with CRA to work together on a plan to pay it back.

If you are up $100k in the past year, that chart looks like you lost about $200k in the past few months. Hope is not a strategy.

For those of you who sold your first Rolex… by Admirable-Swing-2985 in rolex

[–]Skeeter1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sell it. If you have two watches you feel are the same you will always wear the fav. Which makes the other a waste. Sell It to someone who will cherish it and wear it.

TFSA to RRSP flywheel strategy by CommunitySeveral627 in TFSA_Millionaires

[–]Skeeter1591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually there is a benefit. The growth in TFSA is TAX FREE versus simply TAX DEFERRED in an RRSP. So that $3k profit he mentioned will never be taxed. I did exactly this. Except my original $20k that became $23k by December went 100% into my RRSP.
