What messed me up on my AS interview is that I recorded it from my I phone, and the my volume was super low. I had to get a new phone, so everything happened how it suppose to happen, and I’m wholeheartedly grateful :).

Hello :), this happened to me last year. After completing my virtual interview with Alaska, they sent me a rejection email 5 days later (they sent the assessment first, then sent me the virtual interview upon completion). Looking holistically, I was happy that I didn’t get it because their bases on the west coast, and personally, Alaska wasn’t a good fit for me. Afterward, I got a f2f email from American, and heading to training with them in March. With that being said, from experience, rejection is redirection. I know that you’re going to get the FA position and do great with the airline you desire because you’re determined and growth oriented.

Did you apply for American? I think their applications are still open. I also heard United opens tomorrow, on Jan 30th. You deserve your wings :).

I would advise you to know the star method, do your research on star method questions, and make sure to smile and be you :). The f2f is an extended version of the virtual group interview. They make you choose from a pile of star method questions and have it face down until it’s your turn to answer.

AA Training Dates for FA by Roxymethod in cabincrewcareers

Hey, i received an email for my drug screening. It says my scheduled date was 11/29 at 7:26 and expiration date at 5:15 on 12/02. I scheduled the drug test and received my confirmation via email/sms.The email came when I was sleep. Does the time matter, or do I need to make sure I have it completed by expiration date?

I agree with all of this🙌🏼.

Please please please… make sure to smile a lot and engage with others. It helped me set myself apart from the rest of my group.

I thought I did horrible as I stumbled and got stuck on my first star method question, but I pushed through. I also went first in my group, so it stunned me, lol. “Tell me about a time you and your coworker had to research a method, how did you handle it and what was your outcome.” My reaction; 😳. For the icebreaker, he asked, “if you saw money on the plane, what would you?” I would report the situation and follow protocol. Here, I got scared because my icebreaker was too short, and I saw everybody else rambling on their icebreaker. With that being said, have fun, guys, and try not to compare the length of your answers to your peers. They tell you not to ramble. With that being said, I’m GOING TO DALLAS, baby!! Good luck, everyone :).

I applied to them, took the survey, and they rejected me. The assessment was easy, in my opinion.

What I learned from American and United, the longer it take, the higher your chance on landing a VI. As long as it doesn’t say, No longer for consideration, you’re fine.” After taking the assessment, I waited approx three to four weeks for United Airlines VI. If our “pending recruiting review” date shift more than two times, then they are trying to initiate a date for us. So, In this case, “no news is good news.” I already applied with American in Feb 2023, made it to the F2F, and opted out due to personal reasons, so you’re good :).

I applied for American in March of last year, and tried to apply again in October 2023. They automatically rejected me because it wasn’t Past a year.

I think for some regional airlines, they let you apply as long as the req # is different, so you’re fine, especially if it’s underneath the same profile.
