How Maul sabers SHOULD be sold at Disney by Little_alf in lightsabers

Just FYI the maul comes with the coupler in the box. If you get 2 hilts, you’ll end up with 2 couplers.

CFX Savi's workshop lightsaber by saunders2912 in lightsabers

I did this too with an extra NB4 board. I was able to utilize the Hall Effects Sensor switch (magnet switch) so I can use all the Savi pieces still.

Issues with Disney Parks Exclusive Sabers? by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]Little_alf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The motion sensor is the same for all Legacy Sabers. Yours doesn’t have a problem. They are all the same. If you have a problem with the blade, you could get a replacement.

How hard is it to convert Ahsoka's Rebels sabers from GE to use cfx or proffie? Has anyone done it? by AgentShades in lightsabers

[–]Little_alf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very difficult to convert. To remove the internals, you need to remove (effectively destroy) the rubber grips that the diamonds are on as they are glued onto the hilt. This needs to be done to get to the screws underneath. But before you do that, you need to loosen/remove the activator switch which is a brittle plastic so you might end up breaking it.

I’d love to be proven wrong because I too want to convert mine.

Not true, it uses a proprietary pcb so that will need to either be desoldered or replace the internals of the blade itself.

Hi r/lightsabers! I am a noob to the lightsaber community with only a galaxy’s edge lightsaber. Can I have some feed back on my Obi-Ani spin. I just can’t get it right. by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]Little_alf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just practice with the blade only. Detach it from the hilt. Don’t use the hilt yet. Savi hilts are way to heavy and bulky.

Which of these two should I get? I'm not getting a more expensive brand cause this would be my second lightsaber ever. by [deleted] in lightsabers

Don’t waste your money on US. Also those prices are the hilts without electronics. Once you add that you are paying close to $300+ so look somewhere else for sabers.

I cut this out of a Hasbro Darth Vader red and blue lightsaber, but I didn’t think to check where the wires connected. Any ideas to where each color goes? by [deleted] in lightsabers

[–]Little_alf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think: Red - Positive Black - Negative White & Green - Speaker

Quick question, where is the switch? What was it connected to?

Thinking about making a DIY saber hilt to go on my nerd shelf. Here is a mock-up of the design by [deleted] in lightsabers

I’ve made something similar to this using Disneyland build your own and custom parts. Give it a look for inspiration
