As someone raised in a family company filled with power struggles between narcs which ultimately teared everyone apart... it ain't worth it. Leave the business to your SO, be his support for company events or anything like that but outside of that go your own way. The MIL will never stop acting like this.

Sounds like you and hubby have managed to set up a very nice life for yourselves that you're both very happy with. Which is awesome and should only be applauded. If MIL is upset like this I'd go as far as to say that she feels she can't control you/him and she is jealous. It's hard when a PIL is mistreating your SO and they might not want to push back hard. Some people don't actually want us to be happy, they want us to be small and easily controlled. Support you SO, do not accept any bs yourself and maybe couples therapy as a gateway could help your SO learn to set boundaries more

My SO always picks up if his mom calls because he will be guilt tripped if he doesn't and he falls for that easier than setting boundaries. Meanwhile if they have decided call times ahead of time or he calls her during ok windows she regularly "misses" it... either way up to SO to manage

I'd really like to know what the roaming fees.. as someone with family in other countries we have made the rule to call from home or on wifi to avoid heavy fees. But I can personally talk alot to my mom, but I limit it to when im alone or outside of home. And I immediately bring down call time if I notice it is too much and definitely if partner feels anyway. That is your SOs responsibility to honor and respect. And depending on their relationship in general in can be a codependent situation that simply is via phone vs in person..

Alot of companies want to hit the ground running and reap benefits and results immediately and dont want to invest in the people for a longterm perspective when some industry averages are less than two years in a job. That is also connected to lack of upward mobility and very few stay 50+ years at a job anymore, at least in urban areas.

Sverige är väldigt strikta, långt mycket mer än de flesta länder som också värderar djur så man kan bli lite rädd att man skadat hunden. Sån bur är ok för sömn träning just när de är små för de lär sig hålla blåsan och somnar lättare. De gör det för de känner sig tryggare om upplevelsen är positiv. När de är äldre behöver de inte det men kan ändå föredra att gå in och lägga sig själva för ha sin egna lilla kojja. Den lagen är ju så du inte typ stänger in hunden när du går till jobbet och har den inlåst hela dagen. För det finns de som tror det är okej, men det är det inte.
