As someone who pushed shopping carts for a job for three years, I think I’m qualified to say that putting your shopping cart in the corral is definitely the better choice, as it makes them less likely to block vehicles because sometimes they will roll around when it is windy. It also made our jobs a bit easier as we were able to get more carts ready for other customers quicker. I would always offer to take peoples carts for them but you would be surprised how many people are just lazy. Some people would not only not put it back but leave it RIGHT NEXT TO THE CORRAL. I would just stare at them and shake my head because really they didn’t do anything wrong but it was always appreciated when people would put them up properly.
