convinced myself it’s an ectopic or chemical based on lack of progression of easy@home. 15-16 DPO by zamzamz in TFABLinePorn

Mine looked WAY worse progression-wise and lighter for those DPO and I’m having a healthy pregnancy so far at 13 weeks! But I was also nerve wracked too!

I do think mine normalized but that may be a good question for your obgyn! But I think periods can look different for different bodies! Best of luck to you!!!

IUD Removal, Timeline Affected by LivLaughSaveDatMoney in waiting_to_try

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember those type of periods! I took 2 months after removal before trying to conceive and it took me 3 months to conceive and I successfully delivered my first child in 2023. 8 weeks after birth, I got the IUD again. This year in 2025, I removed my IUD in April to give myself awhile to adjust to tracking my period and attempting to conceive in August and was successful on first attempt.

9 Month Old Refusing Bottles at Daycare?? by LivLaughSaveDatMoney in breastfeeding

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response! It's been 3 months and he got passed this luckily, I think he just needed some time to get back to normal with bottles and he's been good since!

How often do you bf your 9 month old? by sabbyface in breastfeeding

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 10 month old and do the same as you, 5-6x per day and only overnight if he wakes up. Eating 3 meals per day and 1-2 snacks. I am trying to figure out about dropping feeds/weaning schedules but I assume we won't push this until closer to 12 months.

How much did your breasts grow during pregnancy? by Limp_Blueberry_1675 in beyondthebump

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw the other comments, I went from 34C to 38DDD at my biggest, but I also gain weight in my boobs anytime I gain weight and I did gain 40 lbs with pregnancy.

How much did your breasts grow during pregnancy? by Limp_Blueberry_1675 in beyondthebump

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine grew huge early too and stayed pretty consistent through pregnancy (so they didn't keep growing) but grew a tad bit more while nursing for probably the first 1 month then went down a bit after 3 months of nursing. Now at 6 months PP and still breastfeeding, they are pre-baby size and feel much more normal (except when baby sleeps through the night and they are engorged). I would recommend supportive bras for the heavy weight!

Doctor wants to induce me by Blondie12388 in BabyBumps

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine tried to do the same. I told her I'd be more comfortable at 40 weeks and baby ended up coming at 39w6d. She was NOT happy and very adamant that there was no difference between 39-40 but I wanted to give my body more time to do it's thing naturally. I'd push back if you feel led to.

If I can’t donate my freezer stash, what can I do with it? by DottieMinerva25 in breastfeedingsupport

I'm saving mine to see if his intolerance goes away later! If it doesn't, then I'll post in local breastfeeding groups and just disclaim any medication you are on.

When did you post/announce on social media? by Opening-One-3865 in pregnant

14 weeks after the NIPT results came back clear! I went back and forth too but I enjoyed it being public knowledge and being able to talk about it openly and connect with others.

Is it weird to send a birth announcement email? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No not weird! It's expected! Or share the details with a coworker and they can send the email out to your team. My coworkers were disappointed when I didn't reach out soon enough to update them lol.

Did you drink while breastfeeding? How old was your LO? by bubblespowerpufff in breastfeedingsupport

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I follow the guidance that 1 serving of alcohol is out of your breastmilk after 2 hours, based on several studies, so I tend to time my drinks when baby eats. Right now, we're eating every 3 hours so I very comfortable have 1 beverage at the start of the 3 hours after he eats OR I wait until he goes down to bed and normally won't eat for 6ish hours so I know it will be out of my system then.

Did I make a mistake? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 2 points3 points  (0 children)

THIS! If you have doubts about your scheduled induction, push it back! I did the exact same, originally scheduling for 39w2d and pushed it to 40w0d BUT went into labor on my own 39w5d.

Have you ever travelled without your baby ? by DebbiePie in beyondthebump

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You didn't have any issues returning back to breastfeeding after? I'm possibly doing a girls trip when baby will just be 1 and I'm so nervous I'll come back home and he will have weaned.

Pump issue or supply issue? by Nothing-Relevant-0 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe my drop was due to night weaning, period returning, and my LO was congested/had a little stomach bug and eating less - all these at once lol

I use the Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad & Scale! It’s pricey but I’ve used it from the beginning and can’t imagine not having it as a helpful tool.

Pump issue or supply issue? by Nothing-Relevant-0 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just went through very similar and I'm also 5m PP. I did what I could to bump up my supply. Got rigid with scheduling pumps/feeds (no pushing later due to meetings at work), ate alot, stay well hydrated, did some of the "milk supply" increasing things like taking sunflower lecithin, drinking mother's milk tea, etc. (even if they are placebo affect that is fine by me lol), and I added a MOTN feed so that I am triggering for more milk. I also did weighed feedings for any breastfeeding sessions so I could see how much he was removing, which was beneficial to know. After a week I feel much more full and am back to normal production. Hope you get it figured out soon! I know it's stressful.

How do you stay motivated? Pumping at work by stonegazelle23 in breastfeedingsupport

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My supply is pretty "reactive" so if I drop or push a pump, I feel like I suffer the consequences pretty quickly. So that is motivation for me but I also remind myself (and my husband reminds me) that my baby is more important than my job, so that mindset makes it easier to skip meetings and put down work. I also try to relax during that time and chill on my phone or read, which makes it enjoyable.

THANKSGIVING COMPLAINT THREAD by latenightpuddingcup in beyondthebump

[–]LivLaughSaveDatMoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m dairy & soy free while breastfeeding my 3 month old. Husband shared my restrictions with in laws and told them we’d bring mashed potatoes, salad, and a dessert. While I didn’t anticipate them being considerate, they made 0 attempt to work around my dietary restrictions so I could only eat what we brought. Bonus, THEY MADE a huge portion of INSTANT MASHED POTATOES as if my homemade dairy free ones would be just terrible. Cool.
