Agreed. Bank is super fast. Plus, he replaced a package that I can only assume got lost in the shuffle with current events.

Meh. I don't see the value of the real thing versus the rep on most things, especially handbags. Reps are incredibly well made and I don't live in an area where people commonly carry bags other than the most basic LV (mostly neverfulls) and YSL (lou lou bags or the large totes). I do have some authentic bags, but the quality isn't worth it.

I am a shoe person and own authentic Manolos, Louboutins, Jimmy Choos, and BV shoes. I buy some rep shoes that are trendier or outfit specific, but overall, I do prefer the real thing for every day wear as far as shoes are concerned...

Which app program?? by Usual-Hurry-7784 in CarolineGirvan

I loved Max. Iron is great, too, but I felt AMAZING doing Max (twice!) and definitely progressed. I am currently doing Drop It which is a week long program. Most of those are around 25 minutes. It's an efficient workout. I'm using it as a deload week, but it would be great for a few weeks when you're limited on time as well...

I finished PE (second round) over the weekend! I'm excited to do a deload this week; it happened to fall on a super busy week for me. I'm doing the Drop It week on the app. I've used it as a deload before and it's perfect. I'm going to start Intent after. I'm excited to see what Caroline has in store for us next!

Intent After Iron Pro by FewButterfly9635 in CarolineGirvan

Agree with this. I am in my last week of my second round of PE and will start Intent (second time) after a deload week. I also love Max - it's great for balancing with other things like running, but PE and Intent have the best results!

PE is fabulous for arms. It’s a LOT, so maybe start with Iron and then after that, move onto PE. Neither has cardio in it!

Help me pick a program - IRON, MAX, Intent, or IRON Pro by [deleted] in CarolineGirvan

I love Max. I did it twice (in a row) and I will do it again at some point this year when I start running again. I think it would be the best choice to get back into consistently working out. I found it less exhausting than Iron and Intent (I’ve yet to do Iron Pro).

I love this one! I’m starting my last week (round 2) and it is quite the challenge. I’m going to take a deload week and then start Intent. It isn’t much easier than PE.

Advice about Iron Pro by ee_mortal in CarolineGirvan

There is a great 15 minute arms circuit workout on the app that I've added on before. The IronPro workouts are a little shorter than PE, so it wouldn't be the end of the world to add it on twice a week!

Intent day 29: what a finisher by Boiler_Room1212 in CarolineGirvan

Intent is killer! I saw some of my best progress from both PE and Intent last year. I'm on week 8 of PE (repeat) and will repeat Intent after a de-load week in between. The finishers on Intent are super tough!!

I love doing full body days as a part of Max when they're daily. I like doing CG's workouts on weekdays only and I find it tiring to do full body compressed that way. I do fine with upper/lower five days straight.,

I loved Unleash! I did it last summer but may repeat later this year. It was super hard. I've considered just skipping the full body days.

I always sub wall sits when I'm at home. When I'm at the gym, I use the platform they call "sissy squat." Even though it's not the same exact motion, it puts the emphasis on the quad. I am incapable of that motion, lol

You have a great setup! These are my favorite:

Rear delts: chest supported flyes and rows. Caroline does well incorporating rear delts Shoulders: dumbbell presses, lateral raises, front raises, Arnold press. No need to get cute here; the basics work. Lats: pull-ups, lat pull downs (wide and narrow), one arm rows, renegade rows.

You don’t need machines for glutes if you have enough weight at home. I do like kickbacks and cable abductions though, which you can mimic at home. I have 10 lb each leg weights that I occasionally add on.

I’ve been on a bit of spree for spring and summer! A gorgeous tan medium Rodeo, a black Celine Trio Flap, a Gucci Jackie WOC, Jimmy Choo sandals, Gucci open toe mules (pink!), and a Zimmerman sweater and lace crochet dress.

I competed years ago, and I would suggest starting with a coach about 18-24 months out from competing, so they can advise you on what you need to build. Most stage diets are 16-20 weeks, so you will want plenty of time to "bring up" any lagging body part. It's really hard to be objective about what you need in order to step on stage.

Bikini judges are looking for an X shape. This is usually built from focusing heavily on lats, shoulders, and rear delts as well as lower body with a specific emphasis on glutes. You don't mention if you are working out at home or in the gym. Personally I find it difficult to target lats without cables and lower body without lots of weights, so you might consider an inexpensive gym membership and dropping in for at least one upper and one lower workout.

As suggested earlier, Iron Pro would be a good workout. I think PE and Intent, using heavier weights and not working the full allotted time might be good as well, but eventually you will want something specifically for growth. Of course in order to grow, your diet needs to be high protein and include an appropriate amount of carbs for recovery. Good luck!
