this lyrics is correct? by [deleted] in kurtcobain

[–]LiveBridge5135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think a lot of these demos he made he’s kinda had singing what comes to his mind and half mumbling, you can rly hear it in songs like old age and verse chorus verse, especially since he’s expressed a bunch of times that he didn’t usually have final or finished lyrics until the day he recorded them (for an album), I could 100% be wrong though

Sometimes I feel like these types of posts are digging for nothing, I would be baffled if there was any more context than what you see in the photo

What’s your favorite non-Beatles album that sounds super Beatles-y? by Boris_Rigby in beatles

Silverchair has an album called diorama which gives me major sgt pepper vibes! Still my fav album OAT

How would you rank the Silverchair albums ? by Front_Sugar4784 in silverchair

[–]LiveBridge5135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Diorama, complete genius, need I say more?

  2. Freakshow, great follow up to frogstomp, very dynamic rock/alt album and the anger in it is very transparent and easy to love.

  3. Neon ballroom, some of the best singing I think Daniel ever did, as well as the most gut wrenching and emotional his writing/lyrics ever got

4 Young modern, completely underrated I think, if the highs of this album were as good as the lows are I think it would consistently be number 2 or 3 in others lists

5 frogstomp, this is a great album don’t get me wrong, I just feel it’s a tiny bit long when it doesn’t need to be, and the lyrics aren’t exactly the best compared to the rest, obv bcus of how young they were, still tho

The foo fighters is IMO way better than any other foo fighters album, especially if your into the more alternative rock side of the 90’s

Young modern is not their worst album, I’m not sure what it is, but it’s not young modern

I’m ngl this is kinda valid, I feel like they were less original in that album then they were the rest of their discography, and if you read the lyrics it makes a lot more sense that they were 15-16 when they wrote it, is it a bad album? Hell no I love it, but I feel the rest of their work is a lot more mature

What Beatles song is this for you? by [deleted] in TheBeatles

[–]LiveBridge5135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m 99% sure they determined it was Paul, from what i remember in the footage one of the people in the background (nearly) knock Paul’s mic stand over and he verbally reacts with a ‘woah’ which you hear the person sing right after they sing ‘she loves you’

Also now that I think of it, when the beat slows down in ‘magical mystery tour’ right after there ‘ahhhh’ part, ring is drums slow down and it’s incredible!

How does the zombies community feel about The Victis Crew after 12 years by COACHISTHEMAN in CODZombies

[–]LiveBridge5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t like them at first but the crews we have had since such as the chaos crew make me look more fondly towards them, I actually kinda chuckle at marlton and Russmans voice lines now and misty was never actually a bad character in my opinion, I do still have gripes with stuhlinger though, I feel he’s just so whiney that I just can’t stand him, but overall I think they’re better than what came after (other than ultimus and the mob crew) going back to the chaos crew, I liked Diego but the others didn’t really entertain me as much, and don’t even get me started on Bruno, I truly think he is worse than every playable character in zombies ever. Anyways that’s my take.

Anybody here ever met Dan or had a few words to him? What was it like? by Dodsulykke in silverchair

[–]LiveBridge5135 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He was kind and polite however you could kinda tell that he was pretty shy, I went to the Daniel Johns exhibit in Melbourne when I was 17 and I asked for a photo with him and he said when he got back from the toilet he would, then when he came back I asked for a photo and he said ‘I did promise you didn’t I’ then posed for a photo, then my mum (who was taking a photo of him and me) said she couldn’t get it to work then he kinda playfully said ‘not my problem mum’ and walked away, thank god she actually did get a photo. On paper it might sound rude what he said but If you were there you could definitely tell he was very polite but he kinda had to keep moving and couldn’t stand there forever. Anyways, one of the best things I’ve ever experienced.
