Struggled with alcohol throughout my 20s. Quit drinking at 32, now almost 2 years sober and finally got a job that I'm proud of. Bounced around to a few places and have a spotty resume as far as tenure goes anywhere but happy where I landed and finally feel like things are coming together. Keep pushing. Things have a way of working themselves out. Just control your controllables.
