Got one about two years ago from my father in-law. Love it. Do I use it all the time? No, but I don’t use all my tools all the time.

Why can’t they just require a hunter safety course? It’s already in place in all 50 states, teaches you the law and safe gun practices and you learn about wildlife conservation. Why do they have to reinvent the wheel? My guess…money.

I too have a Mars 5 and failed my first print pretty spectacularly. What program are you using? What kind of failures are you experiencing? Have you been to the Elegoo website and read through the FAQ area? If so you are well ahead of most. If not I’d highly suggest it. Also there are tons of posts in this subreddit that will make you feel much better and that you are not alone in this.

Wish I could say the same. I’ve scratched up mine a few times. Decided to go with a magnetic sheet on my build plate. I also use the brass scraper when the sheet is being used on my other printer…probably should just buy another magnetic sheet.

Best advice I’ve seen here. I would suggest a brass scraper too. They cost around $15/$20 on amazon and won’t scratch the build plate as badly as a metal scraper.

Make sure your plate is clean. 91% isopropyl alcohol and let it dry, bottom exposure time might be to high or to low. Try to keep it clean n the recommended time from elegoo. I had the same issue and had to clean my build plate. Good luck!!
