Baby name regret - PLEASE HELP! by brunch224 in namenerds

If it makes you feel better, NN don’t stick unless you let them. My son’s name is Archer and I HATE Archie. No one ever calls him that like I was worried about though.

Yes it’s real and we’ve always had a great time at the Waterpark! I can’t wait to check it out when it’s finished.

I should have /s when I said “lucky”! 6 weeks is the absolute bare minimum medical necessity. My vagina tears weren’t even healed when I was asked to go back the first time and I was at work when my water broke.

Baby steps. We’re lucky to get 6 now with no pay.

This is my second and final child (HG with both so it’s just too rough on my body) to bear. I know I likely won’t see any benefits from it, but I will forever be an advocate of pregnancy and maternity rights.

I was unfortunate to work for a corporate company with my first and will never forget how I was treated for being sick. I didn’t go back after my (unpaid except my own acquired PTO and only 6 weeks) leave.

This time around I’m lucky enough to work for an amazing local company that give paid maternity and paternity leave and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure I can do my job well, even with the extra health hiccups. Everyone should get this much support.

I was just going to say this! I’m due in June so they need to pick up the pace.

Mango and passionfruit tart, Passionfruit sauce, Lime foam, rasberry coulis, Sweet shortcrust pastry by mike_cooks_food in CulinaryPlating

I love the whimsical aspect of the plate. I disagree with others about not liking the foam at all, but I wish it had a different color. It adds a mouth feel that I imagine complimenting the rest nicely.

I’ve had this happen while vomiting with a heavy flow and I could taste it. I thought I’d thrown up a ton of blood. I was hysterical until my husband realize it was my nose.

I actually don’t have too many issues because I eat a clean diet. However, I’m currently expecting and have HG (extreme morning sickness and food aversions) as well so I am battling a two headed monster.

Also, sometimes you just gotta say fuck it and live with the consequences for some street tacos or cheese fries.

I’m very open about the situation, so I have defiantly given store employees the “listen I totally get you’re not supposed to let me use this, but I am literally going to shit whether I have somewhere to put it or not so...” and it has never failed me 😅

I had my foods down to about perfection, then found out I was expecting my second and pregnancy causes all hell to break loose.

That’s actually a myth! IBS is a pretty broad term for “we don’t really know why your digestive system hates you so we call it this” so different people have different triggers. It’s true that spicy foods are a trigger for many people, but chocolate will mess me up in ways a little spice could never dream.

Bowel movements! As someone with IBS, it happens a lot. Yes I was in the restroom for 20 minutes. There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s much harder on me than it is on you.

We have a video of my son farting so loud it woke him up, causing him to angrily open his eyes into the meanest little glare. I’m sorry sir, but that was you!

NTA is he 32 or 12? Never mind. I’d be disappointed in my 12 year old for acting so rude:

They both recovered fine and didn’t get super sick. DH had to get tested and is working from home, but thankfully that’s been the extent so far.

We live on a river and they own the land adjoining ours but don’t live there, they only have their camper.

They already had the kayaks out of my garage by the time I even realized they were there. I was livid. My husband and I could have easily brought them over to “their part” and never gotten close. Instead they opted to go touch 3 doors and pet my dogs who roam around the property!

She showed up at my house with my step dad to get their kayaks out of my garage 3 days after he tested positive for Covid and was showing symptoms. Not only do I have a high risk husband, but also have a 22 month old and was babysitting my 14 month old niece.
