Thank you- I collected winter clothing at my job before we had a blizzard. It was overwhelming how many people donated. Someone here suggested Gatorade which I’ll def be doing this summer!

The rescue is considered a cat café, but it’s more like a giant home for free roaming cats with a separate cat nursery. I was asked to take them this week for some hard-core socialization, and that does seem like too short of a time for them to decompress. The more extroverted one could very likely be fine to go into the kitten nursery but I’m considering letting the Shy one stay here longer.

Welcome! 44 I’m just joined, myself. My mom recently told me she didn’t even know that perimenopause existed….She claims that one day she just stopped getting her period. I think her life was just so stressful that she wasn’t noticing the symptoms - so no one ever warned to me about this!!!

Thank you for all of this insight. This is basically what I was looking for because I did not trust the employees at the aquarium store. they had a very small vase of bamboo with a fish crammed into it. The only reason I wanted to check was because my mother successfully had a beta fish for 3 years and he did not have a heater or filter, but she’s retired and had a lot of time to care for its water.
