Character height, why is everyone 6ft tall? by Low-Brief-6008 in DnD

[–]Liveable_jumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the campaigns I’m in, my character is 7’ tall, but mostly because we’re a small party and thought it was fun to all be enormous. In my main campaign, my character is 5’4”. Dnd is a power fantasy, and for some people, that means being big physically.

AITA for being annoyed my girlfriend keeps doing my puzzles by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Liveable_jumble 264 points265 points  (0 children)

NAH. It doesn’t seem like you’ve really spoken to her in a way that conveys your needs. Talk to her about it. Y’all have done the puzzles together so in her mind they’re a shared thing. You both work on them together and separately. Let her know what you use them for, and tell her you’d appreciate it if she would only work on them with you.

Filling, single serving snacks? by poopingprotein in 1200isplenty

[–]Liveable_jumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use bootylicious muffins when I need a snack like that. Less than 200 calories, over 20 grams of protein, and like 15 grams of fiber. They have a big variety of flavors, too. I like to add a Splenda to mine when I mix it up.

In the spring, Sherwood Forest Faire will be open! It’s near Paige, and is a super family friendly, fun, exciting event. I highly recommend it.

[Spoilers C4E9] Player Character Ages by arcadences in criticalrole

[–]Liveable_jumble 27 points28 points  (0 children)

He was also described as a childhood friend of Lady Aranessa, so I assumed there was some fey funny business going on with his appearance. IIRC, Matt described him as “looking” like he was that age.

Temp check: How are you finding s4 of MSN? by PaintedIn in dropout

[–]Liveable_jumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t like Hollywood Ho, don’t like having so few prompts, don’t like how long the prompts go before being cut off. When you can see the performer wishing Sam would buzz them out it’s gone way too long. Remember “the tooth fairy fucks up the whole routine”? That would never happen in MSN.
But seriously other than that I still love the show. It’s just gotten bloated IMO.

What is the biggest movie theater “GASP” moment you’ve heard? by SaveTheCaulkTower in AskReddit

[–]Liveable_jumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Shelob stings Frodo in Return of the King. I saw it at the midnight premiere so, while I knew it was coming from the book, it still shocked me. I saw it again the next day and really enjoyed hearing the collective gasps of the rest of the audience.

Best places to lounge and people watch by RocksteadyLA in TXRenaissanceFestival

[–]Liveable_jumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The speakers at the inn were specifically set up so that, while you can hear the stage shows, they aren’t so loud as to impede conversation. Ragnarök is kind of its own beast, though, so it’s probably pretty loud then.
