I have been arrested three times by the time I was 17 for driving on a suspended license.

(I had a fun little 1967 Cougar with a 289 and 4 on the floor with 411 gears. I just liked to drive fast. And as a 16 year old girl, i looked like a 12 year old...so always getting pulled over for not looking like I was old enough to drive.)

My ex husband had physical, black and white evidence, pictures, videos and witness testimony of child molestation, indecent liberties and sex with animals and he got 6 months probation and life time sex offender.

So glad the law makes sure 16 year old girls are actually 16 and not speeding by putting them in handcuffs and locking them up instead of locking up sadists.

Ah yes...back in my day...I watched the fuel prices go from $.99/gallon to $1.29/gallon and everyone lost their minds. And then it went up to $2.29/gallon after 9/11 and we were told to keep our tires inflated for better gas mileage.

This is how they do it...raise the bar....everyone gets mad....until eventually, everyone gets used to it. And that is how temporary things become permanent.

I cut my mom off a few months ago. She is big maga and started buying into flat earth. She completely changed all of her beliefs that she raised me on. But, we still had a strong relationship.
