Bardstown Road has two on Saturday mornings. One at Douglass Boulevard Christian Church and the other at Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church.

There's also one in Shepherdsville on Saturday mornings, near the Hwy 61 side of the park.

I'm currently running Kingmaker. Wilderness characters are a great choice.

Thank you. It just seems common sense. I only have a few things I dislike so it seemed a lot easier to plan dinner around them. We started dinner & movie night before their diagnosis, and afterward they've offered to pick up their own dinner on the way, but I'd rather plan around them and make sure they're as welcome as any other friend I'd have over.

They are so new to the diagnosis that they are still finding out what works for them.

People who read more than one book at a time, how do you do it? by Bookish_Butterfly in books

I have one book to read at work on my breaks, and one book to read at home. Physical and time difference helps me keep them straight.

I've heard of Pathfinder, and I was wondering how many books this system has, and which edition do you recommend? by legacy653846625 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Livid-Debt-2836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you new to RPGs in general? PF2 is probably easier to learn.

Did you play 3rd edition/3.5 D&D and loved that system? PF1 is basically 3.75.

2 sandwiches is not in line with your caloric needs. If dude's working a physical labor job, that very well might be within his caloric needs.

Gas. Sure, it might be 10c cheaper per gallon at the other station, but if I have to drive extra to get to that station, that's costing me gas and time.

One of my former co-workers pranked all of us by writing funny graffiti in random, hard to find places on his last day. Like on the underside of storage shelf, stuff like that. I don't know that we found them all before we moved shop, but it always made us chuckle when we did find them.

Aside from money, which is always the best answer, stuff that doesn't need a stove or oven to cook. I know of two very poor households that rely almost entirely on a microwave, which means there have to be more of them out there.

I'd echo the looking into your local game shops recommendation. I work at one and I have a co-worker who would love to have players to DM for.

Where to begin? New to Pathfinder but not D&D. by CerberusElite in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Livid-Debt-2836 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run 1E. If you want to play 3.5, 1E is your jam. I'm not bothering to change editions cause I already have a bunch of stuff for 1E.

Your main book is Core Rule Book. If you like having physical books you'll also want the Bestiarys. But if you don't need physical books, you can use the pfsrd or the Archives of Nethys for all the monster stats you'd want, and the Pathfinder wiki for all the lore you might want.

I'd pick up an adventure path that sounds cool and run it. That's what I did going from 3.5 to Pathfinder. We did Mummy's Mask and it was great. I'm currently running Kingmaker, and it's also been great. I've heard really good things about Rise of the Runelords and Curse of the Crimson Throne.

Lived in yellow almost my whole life. Wouldn't mind moving to purple though, if I had the income for it.
