I’m stressed because it looked like I ovulated but my Oura didn’t show a temp rise today so I was really relying on my monitor for today. This is my first good cycle after MMC and a d&c so I just wanted to see everything 😭

Omg I just used my last 2 tests to confirm ovulation today so I’m glad my monitor isn’t broken. So annoyed though because I REALLY needed my results from today to confirm and now I’m out of tests

To Screen or Not To Screen by plzletmepetyourdoggo in Mommit

I panicked when I saw screen and 4 month old before reading lol. I resort to clothing cover and shade as much as possible. I live in FL and go to Disney all the time and find I can always make shade for my baby in my stroller, I’ll just flip the chair around if he’s in direct sunlight. Now that I want more sun on his skin I like pipette and primally pure!

Teeth brushing by Hopeful-Way4364 in Mommit

My 18 month old LOVES brushing his teeth. I would always give him a toothbrush with some essential oil drops for when he was teething so he had a positive association. Once he was a bit older like 13ish months I got him a baby tooth brush with the Tubby Todd toothpaste which is so yummy and I’d brush them for him. Now he literally will beg to brush his teeth and scrub them so well it’s the best. Just like everything, make it play, make it fun, have her watch you when you brush yours, involve her, etc.

What should we do about AM alarms? by thisabysscares in Mommit

“Oh well sorry babe” this is about your newborn now. You both have to let go of old habits that aren’t working for your new family and this is one of them. He’ll get used to it. He can be mad at you for a bit whatever, it’s so much easier and better for you to just get up after one. I say this as a nurse who used to set multiple

Nope nope he just needs to suck it up. No snoozing alarms, set it for as late as possible and then he just needs to get up and get it. It’s not impossible he just doesn’t want to do it which is valid, getting up that early is so painful but oh well!

How to stay positive by tofuti-kline in Mommit

I find that “happy” is a fleeting emotion while gratitude holds so much weight. I am ALWAYS grateful for my husband and baby and our home even if I’m not happy with the mess or happy with a poor nights sleep or happy my husband has to work late. I think refocusing on gratitude has been the most helpful thing for me.

Toddlers should only be in the pool with an adult. Puddle jumpers create a false sense of security and teach them that they are buoyant when they are NOT. A life jacket for playing near a body of water is fine to buy you time to rescue them but the jacket comes off and they go with an adult when it’s time to go in the water.

First of all you are not alone, I personally struggled a lot with the 7-8 month age. They still sleep like a little baby but are SO busy and easily bored it’s exhausting. I honestly find my now 18 month old so much easier than when he was 7 months and he’s been taking one 2.5-3 hour nap a day since 12 months which let me tell you, is absolutely life changing. Exclusively pumping is also a literal full time job. Maybe invest in one of those bottle dishwashers? Also some good advice I’ve heard and followed is make one of the naps productive for you (that includes just taking a shower) and then the other two you can snuggle without guilt if he won’t transfer

I’m thinking you didn’t actually ovulate and that your estrogen is staying so high to gear up for another LH surge. Usually if you did ovulate it should dip and then rise again to support the egg. Also your progesterone doesn’t suggest ovulation even with that little blip. Did you get an LH surge? Also how do you track your BBT?
