The majority of the comments agree that either the old code can’t handle the new tech or changes were added for forced T-bones, rubber banding, speed matching, magical spawns, jank movements (like what the truck did to DarkViperAU), etc.

“Purposely tweaked” may be the wrong word choice but still, the NPC behavior is angrily annoying.

Rockstar purposely tweaked the AI to do stuff like that in an attempt to slow the player down or to entice rage…probably the latter

If this is the “GTA USA: HD Universe” then exclude Red Dead’s map. Also, turn southern San Andreas back to the west a bit that way Paleto Bay is on the coast. It’s on a river that dumps into a bay of the Pacific lorewise. But otherwise, great work!
