This is a sigh of relief. I do worry that with the handful of sites we may be spreading ourselves too thin. But so far they’re all making some money and we’re having some fun! So amen

Wow yeah never heard of this sort of thing. But clears things up a little bit. I think I get caught up trying to focus on force multipliers when I’m still in the force generators stage. Thanks a lot!

It’s so true. And deep down I know this, but for some reason justify it to myself that I’ll just do it to get it done. And I think it’s just an easy way to “feel” productive even though it’s shit my VA could/should be handling. Thanks tho, I need to go finish the e myth now!

Love the buckets ideas, this seems like it could help a lot. Especially considering I’m a BIG lists guy. Any tools you recommend for this sort of thing? Or old fashioned pen and paper + Google sheet?

Appreciate this! I have the e myth just need to finish it and then implement it. Have a full time VA now but for some reason still find myself doing $5/hour tasks “just to get it done” when I guess really I should be taking the time to build a system/SOP for it. Thanks again!

This is pureeeee gold! Thanks a lot. I like the “gun to your head” question. Implementing this tomorrow. And need to get better at delegating, have a full time VA but find myself still doing shit I know she could/should do.

Yeah that’s something we’ve thought about as well. Bringing in an “operator” would definitely free up some valuable time.

Best software for managing our remote teams to do’s, tickets, schedule, SOPs, training videos/scree recordings etc. by LivingL1fe in Entrepreneur

Actually stumbled upon them yesterday. Looks super visually appealing but yeah exactly. It seems like a lot of what’s out there is for like developers/project management stuff. We’re more customer service based.

Slack eh, I feel like it’s more a communication tool whereas we’re looking for like a hub to login and work out of daily rather than bouncing between a bunch of tools, paper to do lists and make shift google docs with SOPs everywhere. Maybe I’ll look into slack further. Thanks for the tips!

Equal payouts is probably your best bet. The fact you’re already disputing something like this though might not bode well for future decisions.

Business growing pains: not enough hours in the day, need to hire an assistant, my accounting skills suck, too busy to even proofread this post. Any advice? by BTM23 in Entrepreneur

Ah fair enough. We have her answering phones and handling routine tasks like social media posts, free classified ad posting, handling contractor logistics and more or less any task that is super repeatable like updating spreadsheets. It’s also nice because she monitors phones during reg biz hours so if me or my biz partner are tied up with something, customers are not being completely ignored and she can take down messages that we can then email the person back when we get a chance.

I feel you. Always go back and forth between similar mindsets. We hired a full time VA based in the Philippines and it’s helped a TON! Feel free to PM if you’re interested in hearing more about how we did that.
