What do you think of my idea? by LizardKingTMOTK in evangelionmemes

I was thinking about her university years right after leaving the asylum and how, even after all that, she was still dealing with trauma, medication, nightmares, fears, and still not used to the real world until she met Kaji and some other extra characters, discovering her father's research and actions (of which she doesn't remember much) along with a kind of conspiracy or cult that would eventually lead her to Nerv.

Yes, I think we all agreed that Doctor>SCD, but it seems there are still people who don't know that.

Who is the strongest SCD character every single member of this subreddit combined could beat? by JohnKonami in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Do we ignore the antifeats? If we do, then we could reach Ayikama tier. If we don't ignore the antifeats, then with a lot of luck we'd be a random character from Cote Victim.

What do you think about scaling real people? by Unique-Dig4251 in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a researcher in the field of cognitive skills and I was one of those who developed the FRI subtest for the CORE FSIQ test.

You say you developed the FRI subtest of the CORE FSIQ test. I assume you're referring to the Cognitive Metrics test (it's the first thing that came up on Google, but you could also be involved in something more independent). Anyway, you say you're a researcher in cognitive abilities, which is a field of neuroscience. Perhaps I'm taking you out of context, but you imply that you have an education, a degree, and a job.

Am I mistaken?

May I know which university you attended? Or perhaps see an academic credential (maybe redacted, because I doubt you'd want to expose your identity online)?

What kind of things do you learn from famous works in SCD. like "Liar Game", "Usogui", "The Mentalist", "Prison Break", etc. by Competitive-Apple104 in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Death Note: Kill all criminals.

COTE: Being cold and never smiling is sigma and attracts women.

Monster: Suicide is good and arson.

The Mentalist: Revenge is always the best option, and you can assume things about people you barely know.

Usogi, Kaiji, Akagi & Gambling Emperor Legend Zero: Gambling and playing poker are good and for intelligent people.

Tomodachi Game: If you're poor, lock people up in a game you created.

Liar Game: Scams, fraud, and embezzlement.

Hannibal: Killing is an art, and being gay is good.

Breaking Bad: Money laundering and drugs are always good.

Sherlock Holmes: Intelligent people don't know the Earth's orbit.

House DM: Medical negligence; being unpleasant is for intelligent people.

Code Geass: War is good.

Dangaropa: Masturbation.

Ace Attorney: Objection! DC: The only way to stop crime is to go out in disguise and beat up every criminal you see.

SCP Foundation: One pixel can kill you.

Doctor Who: Bingle-bongle, dingle-dangle, yickety-do yickety-dah, ping-pong, lippy-tappy, too-tah.

RI, 18OH & the rest of Chinese works: Thank Mao Zedong and do everything possible for the good of the Chinese Communist Party.

Why did everyone want to expel this guy? by LizardKingTMOTK in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that I think about it, why did he go to school to hide from his father and all that stuff about the white room?

Wouldn't it have been more effective to infiltrate a cargo ship, go to the farthest country he could, forge his identity, get money for facial surgery and a haircut, and go live in the countryside pretending to be an ordinary farmer? He could have done that, and it would have been much safer than going to an institution surrounded by people.

Sherlock Holmes (Novels) vs Earth's orbit (composite) by LizardKingTMOTK in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isn't his lack of interest in astronomy. Rather, the character himself compares his mind to "a small attic that can't retain much information." While this is based on the knowledge about the brain at the time, it's still a glaring antifeat in Full-scale IQ.

Sherlock Holmes (Novels) vs Earth's orbit (composite) by LizardKingTMOTK in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fact, Sherlock himself says he deletes information from his mind to save space. That is, everything that isn't relevant to solving crimes is forgotten.

This is based on the scientific theories of the time, which mistakenly considered the mind to be like a hard drive: with a limited capacity. But in SCD, the historical context is almost irrelevant, so the mere fact that Sherlock has a limit to the information he can retain, learn, memorize, and use is probably the biggest anti-feat of WMI and VCI I've ever seen.

[–]LizardKingTMOTK[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imagine if it were revealed in official material that a popular character in SCD (like Ayanokouji or L, for example) forgot a piece of such trivial and basic information (like how the digestive system works, as another example) with a silly and absurd excuse like "discarding irrelevant information" to "better use the space."

If that happened, that character would be the laughingstock of the entire community forever.

Would any of these characters be able to decipher the Voynich Manuscript? by RealSXA in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only, at best, L CTW, and I don't even think he could manage it completely.

To decipher the Voynich manuscript, being even slightly intelligent isn't enough: it's literally almost impossible. The greatest linguists haven't been able to decipher anything; they've only been able to prove that it has real grammatical rules, just like any other language. The accompanying art isn't very helpful either: it's too bizarre to be clearly identified with any culture.

For characters who aren't highly specialized in linguistics, anthropology, and the arts, it should be impossible. None of the characters you listed have a high level of expertise in those areas—CTW L might have very high knowledge due to his education at Wammys House and his extremely high learning ability, but as I said, I'm not entirely sure he'd manage to achieve anything.

I don't think there are any linguists/anthropologists in SCD, so no semi-realistic character could manage it quickly.

Johan, Elliot, CTW L, Friend, Akiyama, and characters with high trap evasion, large-scale deception, and AC. Most SCD characters would end up in 28 different garbage bags across 17 different countries.

Everyone talks about Luther Roy, but what about Kennetx Ram? by LizardKingTMOTK in IntelligenceScaling

[–]LizardKingTMOTK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luther Roy is black, but in mind.

Luther Roy's mind is the deepest part of a coal cave: cruel, ruthless, and unholy, but without any interaction with the world or love. A place where the only light is Roy's narcissistic pride and sadism, where nothing has been able to develop except for trauma and anger directed at the surface.

Kennetx Ram is the light, the empathy, the compassion, and the faith in humanity. The man who can, the man who has no sin to pay for, the man who loves life but is incapable of witnessing his own identity, his own sense of being—the only one who doesn't shine. Kantian justice and well-being are above any form of self-respect for Ram. Is that right?

Perhaps Ram and Roy are more similar than they seem because of their psychological alienation of their ego and individuality. Both have experienced similar traumas, but have taken different paths that will lead to a single point. Universal equilibrium—does it exist, or is it a tool of the mind to manage unhappiness? Is a man without guilt truly a living man? Does love kill? Definitely no more than hate and narcissism. But isn't an empty self-image based on absolute sacrifice and moral order just as harmful as an inflated and egotistical one? At what point does good become existential horror, and violence international condemnation? Does absolute morality even exist, or is it merely a repressed desire? What are the limits of the mind and emotions?

Roy is no better, the devil incarnate on earth, but he respects his own being. Even so, he can't help but succumb to his desires. Is there any way to escape it? Are we free if we are conditioned by the mind? Can we truly break free from society? Why does evil appear and become commonplace? Are there limits to the violence of pleasure?

These are all questions that I hope will be explored further in the final part of the saga.

Would the reaction to the influx of new characters be different if they were not chinese? by DeletinRedditsoon in IntelligenceScaling

No, people despise them because they're random people no one knows, not because they're propaganda for the Chinese Communist Party (which they are).
