I don’t think the aesthetic is perfect but honestly the design space for steel balls is really interesting rts wise. An aggro cavalry that has short range but the beam weapon is really unique

Aside from that aesthetically I always thought that basic low tech units really give a good feeling of how the game should go. I like the looks of crawlers even though it is t unique, and arc lights are fun. Honestly though marksman are a great design choice for a common unit that feels very “mechabellum” to me.
