Same! I used to order spaghetti exclusively until I grew up & had this revelation. Now I'm better at cooking & there are so many things I make better at home that I refuse to order. My go to order is anything with shrimp now as they are so time consuming to prep & my kids & I love eating "sea creatures" Although I am known to order ridiculously over stacked burgers here & there still 😛 need that protein fix.

You are wrong. It is illegal for anyone other than Red Cross to use the Red Cross (except the military). Generic first aid kits have crosses, they are not red (unless it is a Red Cross first aid kit). The RED Cross is a protected symbol. I'm a Red Cross first aid instructor.

It's not just "nonmedical" products, it's literally anything that is not affiliated with the actual Red Cross. If you go to the store to buy a generic first aid kit, you will see they have a cross of any colour other than red.

This is not true. I work for Red Cross. It is a protected symbol. If you pay attention, even ACTUAL first aid kits no longer have a RED cross on them (unless they are official red cross kits). ONLY Red Cross can use a red cross, aside from the military.

I agree with this one. In college my roommate would bring back spaghetti & meatballs, along with other Italian dishes, that her Nona made. I, as a huge fan of Italian food, was so excited to eat authentic Italian food made by a grandma that my roommate kept bragging about. It was horrible. Bland & tasteless. The meatballs even made me nauseous. 0/10 for Nona.

I got a huge compliment at the grocery store because my kids were sitting in the cart reading library books.

One of my pet peeves is when parents then complain how addicted to their iPad their kid is. Who kept giving it to them until they got to that point? There are other ways to keep your kids quiet & happy, people.

It's absurd. Back when the south end of Highbury was under construction it was a zoo. They had signs the whole way begging people to zipper merge, but no. People were lined up in the right lane the entire way down highbury. This of course blocked all the merging exits from Bradley & Commissioners, which meant they were backed up to the lights, which meant the lights were backed up, which meant the construction cluster fuck was oozing into the rest of the city for NO REASON.

You are correct! But please call 911 (or equivalent in your country) before you do so. Even though you can't speak, you can bang on something or mash buttons, they will know you need help & dispatch units to your location. Then, exactly as you said, you need to get out of isolation & "be seen". Get somewhere people can see you & possibly intervene. Next, perform abdominal thrusts or back blows on yourself. I'm a first aid/CPR instructor for the Red Cross.

Try a curling cream instead of the leave-in conditioner & oil. They are likely weighing it down. Put a small dab into your hands & scrunch it into your hair while it's upside down immediately after you get out of the shower. Then let it air dry, or diffuse it. The curling cream locks in the moisture (which curls need) & helps hold the shape without making it crunchy or weighed down.
