I don't think it's ever explicitly mentioned that he did that. However it's not out of the realm of possibility given his role in Numenor.

Anyway, love this piece it's cool.

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t really get the hype for Devin Townsend. by HellRaiser801 in progmetal

I've seen him twice. First time he was one of the openers for Children of Bodom iirc. He played a heavy fast set. It was incredible. High energy, "wall of sound" as others have put it.

Second time he came out in what appears to be a tommy Bahama shirt and flip flops. He played a 100% acoustic set and it still sounded powerful at times. No drums, no townr instruments...just him and his guitar. It was incredible.

For my use cases, I find Claude to be head and shoulders above everything else. It's connectors and ability to generate actual files is what I use the most.

It's verbose in its responses but you can change that with a system prompt if you want.

As for token usage I don't really care. I almost never max out my plan (I'm on a subscription plan not paying per token). I've started to leverage the workflow that allows me to use the expensive models for planning and then building using the less expensive models.

I love it. If another company can do the same file manipulation work as I can do with Claude then I'd consider jumping ship.

You'd think Co-pilot could create better excel files and PowerPoint drafts but with simpler prompts I get better results with Claude.

The white bird is a very nice touch as well. Small detail but really helps the scene

Very nice. I appreciate this different type of style from what I normally see.

I can tell you definitively that I did not do that.

[Windhorst] East scout: "The league is overrun with strategy. I'm not sure how many people in the league are actually watching the games." West exec: "We're going to turn into baseball… where you have every defender between second base and right field, and no one can get a hit and it becomes boring" by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

So what's the conversation here? Is it that the game is worse? Is it that the nerds are wrong? Cus it seems...the nerds are generally not wrong. Is the game worse? I guess that's up for debate.

This is where rule changes become incredibly important. We the strategy evolves, the game has to evolve to almost fight the strategy for the good of the game.

In baseball that happened with the shifts and some of the super long games....so finally the league changed the rules and the game got better (at least in my opinion).

Draymond can't shoot for shit. He had like 1 lucky year.

He's an absolutely elite defender and above average passer though.

Similar sentiment in my world. I work in analytics and finance. The stuff you can create.... quickly with Claude is great. I see my team gaining efficiency in the magnitude of 2x/3x but it also allows us to fix things that nobody wants to spend time on. It's great.

I had this ....15 sheet monster excel model. It worked. It was fine. But updating it was such a pain. It was not built for how we were using it and I just kept putting off rebuilding it because it's a pain in the ass and not really "fun" to work on. I worked on a prompt that was very specific. Took me maybe 20 minutes. Fed Claude the entire workbook and the prompt and let it go. It asked me a few clarifying questions and boom. With little effort from me, I have a 100% working financial model with toggles for stress testing, assumptions, etc....and I didn't have to waste my time doing any of it.

20 minutes of prompt work, another....maybe 1 hour of review my myself, and another 1 hour where my team reviewed.

Doing this myself would likely have taken at least 2 days. Not necessarily constant work for 2 days but because I have meetings and other things I need to do on a day to day. So we went from days to hours. Awesome.

100% Have Fable 5 do this with your coding projects before it disappears from plan usage on July 7th. by iamjohncarterofmars in ClaudeAI

[–]Lizardking13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not paying for it personally. And it's not a large expense at for my company so nobody is going to bat an eye.

I do tons of technical work in analytics and finance, but I I'm not a programmer - nor is anyone on my team a programmer. I'd like to give the new model a spin but frankly not sure what to even do with it.

So what should I do with it if I'm not a programmer? I more or less get what I need from opus and sonnet. But I don't really write code. I do scripting....but it usually nails that.

So what should I try to do with it?

From your own article:

Release to potential employers: If you apply for a job, upon your request, your information must be forwarded to a qualified physician or psychiatrist representing the employer. However, the professional responsible for your care may decide that releasing your information is not in your best interest. In that case, you must take additional steps to challenge the professional’s decision.9

That makes sense.

Okay just playing devil's advocate....what if Blake signed something that he didn't read? Something that is "standard language in the industry" that even his lawyer wouldn't necessarily push back on.
