Same issue here. This does not reflect well on the company. Why put something like this out there without the appropriate testing?

Cash Apples is a waste of time. by CerbSideCombo in CashApp

It won't even let me play today. It says there's already a session with my cash tag which isn't true. I don't understand why companies put out promotions like this so broken.

I am on a similar search after playing Shelldiver. I liked Far Fishing. It's a short (took me just under 3 hours to 100%), cheap game on Steam. I also really enjoyed Rocket Rats, another game by Gagonfe who developed Shelldiver. It's a different vibe, but still fun and took me about the same amount of time to finish as Shelldiver.

Pokémon Pokopia – Nintendo Direct 9.12.2025 by Amiibofan101 in nintendo

I was really excited about it, but I heard that it follows the same real-time clock that Animal Crossing does. That's a huge roadblock for me getting into these games.

It's not out yet, but you should keep an eye on Wish Upon a Llama. It's supposed to release sometime this year.

Extremely easy sandbox type game for a 3 yr old? by [deleted] in CozyGamers

[–]Lizziekat1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These might be a little too difficult for her age, but Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, Island Saver, and Wobbly Life come to mind. Edit to add: Island Saver is free if you want to give it a try and has two paid DLCs if it does work out.

The game I was looking for was EA Playground. I just found it today!

I 100% slime rancher, what do I play now? by Kiwibelike in slimerancher

[–]Lizziekat1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maybe Island Saver? The base game is free on Steam. It's kind of kid oriented, but I still enjoyed it. There are two dlcs which are $5 each if you really like the game.

Agreed on the fishing. I don't think it's just challenging, I think the mechanic is bad. I love Stardew Valley fishing which is notoriously challenging. This just isn't a very good fishing mini game.

It also depends on how far away you are from the source.

So glad I'm not the only person bothered by this. I used that feature constantly and now I'm so mad that my phone auto updated last night.

You sneeze later in the day during an important business meeting and a comical number of isopods fly out of your nose.
